Criteria For Processing Inter-University Transfer
- You must have a good result (CGPA) in your former school.
- You can only apply to programmes you are studying in your former school.
- A good moral record is also a necessary requirement.
- You must have made all necessary inquiries from the accepting institution before informing your former school/department that you are leaving.
- Consider the security situations, weather and living conditions, academic standard of the school you intend transferring to.
Guidelines For Processing Inter-University Transfer In Nigeria
- Make necessary inquiries in person from the school you intend to transferring to, only that way you will know the availability of space in the department you intend joining and ensure that they will accept you based on CGPA and otherwise.
- If number (1) above is successful, then apply to your parent institution that you would like to withhold your admission to another university. Your department will guide you through these process.
- Proceed to submit application for inter university admission into the new school if number (1) and (2) is satisfactory. Most schools like UNN, UNILORIN etc do have specific time of the year when they accept to tarnsfer students.

No Elizabeth, when you are doing Inter University Transfer, you cannot change course/Department.
Please can I change my course from Vet Medicine to Medicine and Surgery in UI after 100level.
Yes you can pick a Change of Course form at the School Senate building. If you qualify for Medicine, you will be offered admission, but start all over at 100level.
