As a jambite in a Nigerian Institution, it is very necessary for you to include some important items when packing for school. If not, life on campus will surely get difficult for you.
To make things get easier for you, we have put together some important things you will need.
Things You’ll Need On Campus As A Jambite
LAPTOP
Laptop is one of the most essential item for a student to have. You can use it for your assignments, Research, and also in studying. You should however be careful not to allow it distract you, as some students use it to watch movies and play PC games. Try as much as possible to use it in studying and making research online.
TEXT BOOKS/MANUALS
As a fresher or a Jambite, you need to have textbooks, handouts, and manuals to support the notes taken in class to study and prepare for your tests and examinations.
At every begining of a semester, make sure you acquire these manuals from your department or lecturers. Get yourself aquainted with the topics and get the necessary textbooks and handout recommended for the course of study. Following these steps will help you prepare well for your test and exams.
PORTABLE LAMP
This is also an important item for every Jambite. A portal reading lamp will be needed for those late night study hours. You should never rely on the power company for electricity. If you can not afford a generator, a good portable reading lamp with bright light is more than enough.
STATIONERIES
You will need some stationeries or materials such as Dictionary and Thesaurus, note pad, note books, pens, pencils, papers, files, stapler, calculators etc. to help you in your learning process.
INTERNET ACCESS
The internet has proven to be a large resource for information. The opportunities that abide online are unlimited and the internet play a major role in student’s and research.
Without the internet access, you won’t be able to visit CAMPUS TIMES NIGERIA to read the basic things you will need on campus as a jambite.
CLOTHINGS?
Everybody knows that clothings is one of the most essentials things one will need on campus. You need different clothings for different occasions or events. Some of the clothing items may include (depending on which sex you belong to): Dressing gowns, T-shirts, Jumpers, Trousers, Skirts, underwears, Socks, Shoes/Trainers, Shirts and Ties etc. Just make sure you go with enough clothing that suit your style and personality.
In addition, do not forget to include bedding materials as part of the items. You will need bed sheets, Duvet and duvet covers, pillows & pillow cases, mattress cover etc.
