How To Check UNILORIN Admission List 2025/2026 On the JAMB CAPS

The management of University of Ilorin has officially commenced the uploading Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.

Therefore, prospective candidates who applied to UNILORIN and participated in the admission screening exercise can now log in to their JAMB CAPS portal to check their admission status.

Steps to Check Admission on JAMB CAPS:

1. Visit JAMB CAPS Portal and log in with your JAMB email and password.

2. Click on “Check Admission Status”.

3. Select your examination year and enter your JAMB registration number.
4. Click “Access my CAPS”.

5. On the CAPS dashboard, click “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.

6. If admitted, click “Accept” to confirm the offer.

How UNILORIN Admission Aggregate Is Graded

Admission Criteria: The admission process at UNILORIN will consider an aggregate of UTME/DE score (50%), the Post-UTME screening score (30%), and the grades of five relevant O’ Level subjects (20%).

To calculate UNILORIN Post UTME, you should know that 60 questions of your subject combination are totalled or summed into 100 marks. And when divided by your score, you arrive at your aggregate score.

Now, to calculate your UNILORIN aggregate score, divide your UTME score by 8 and your Post UTME score by 2 and you will arrive at your score.

300/8 =37.5%

UNILORIN School Fees Payment Procedure

The process adopted by UNILORIN for payment of school fees is as outlined below:

• The school fees schedule for new and returning students is released by management before resumption for a new academic year.
• Students are expected to access the portal at unilorin.edu.ng at the start of registration to generate their individual school fees invoice.
• Payment can be made directly online via the school portal using ATM cards or web payment platforms.
• Payments can also be made at designated banks which will then reflect on the portal.
• Proof of payment printed out will be presented at the registration venue.
• Registration officers will crosscheck that fees on invoice has been paid before completing registration formalities.
• Evidence of payment is also a requirement for writing exams as students will not be allowed into the exam hall if they have outstanding fees.

UNILORIN School Fees Payment Deadline

1. Fresh students are expected to pay their fees in full at least one week before the commencement of registration formalities.
2. Returning students also have to pay their school fees fully before the registration deadline as given by the academic calendar.
3. Late registration is usually permitted for another one week after the official deadline with an additional late registration fee imposed.
