UNICAL Pre-Degree Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements:

1. Credit-level passes at not more than two sittings in (WASC/NECO/GCE O/L, NABTECH) English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science, Mathematics and one Science/Social Science subject and at least a pass in Physics.
2. Candidates admitted into the Pre-degree program with a Credit in Agriculture and/or a pass in Physics will only be sent to the Faculty of Agriculture upon successful completion of the program.
3. Candidates awaiting results may also apply. Such applications shall only be considered on receipt of the pending results within the period allowed for such consideration.
4. Applicants must have 2025 JAMB results.

STEP 1

First Method: ELECTRONIC PIN

• Walk into any Bank Branch nationwide.
• Request to make payment for University of Calabar C.E.S application form 2025/2026 on the E-Tranzact Platform
• Pay the sum of ₦15,000 (Fifteen thousand naira only) and obtain a payment slip containing a unique PIN.
• Login with the generated pin for the C.E.S application.

Second Method: THE PAPER SCRATCH CARD OPTION

The Post UTME also known as Post-JAMB is usually conducted by individual higher Institutions in Nigeria.

For example, in order to calculate your UNICAL Post UTME aggregate score, the formula purportedly adopted by the institution is the sum of your UTME SCORE divided by 8 and your POST UTME SCORE divided by 2.

To get your UNICAL Post UTME score aggregate; divide your UTME score by 8 and your post UTME score by 2.

250 divided by 8 = 31.25. 55%

divided by 2 = 27.5 .

So, 31.5 plus 27.5 = 59%
