Although, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had set the cut-off marks or benchmark of 150 for Universities, 100 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education, including schools of nursing as 140.

University of Abuja has however pegged their minimum cut-off marks to 180 above for it 2025/2026 admission exercise.

UNIABUJA Admission Screening Requirements Details

In addition, to be eligible for admission into University of Abuja, you must meet some certain admission requirements to be qualified for their screening exercise and be worthy to be offered provisional admission.

You will need the following underlisted documents such as:-

  • Printed copy of your JAMB result.
  • Original copy(s) of SSCE results (statements of result/certificate).
  • Birth certificate/Age declaration.
  • A Certificate/letter of good conduct from your village head or a responsible member of your community/or Civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or it equivalent.
  • Certificate of Local Government of origin.

UNIABUJA POST-UTME/ DE  SCREENING DATE

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the University of Abuja for the 2025/2026 academic session either through UTME or Direct Entry (DE) that the Post-UTME screening registration will commence from Thursday, 14 August 2025 to Friday, 5 September 2025.

Requirements For The Screening

  • Candidates must have relevant O’level results at NOT MORE THAN 2 SITTINGS and scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 UTME.
  • Candidates must have made the university of Abuja their first choice or changed from other institution to make the University of Abuja their first choice.
  • Candidates for Direct Entry (DE) admission will be required to upload both their O’level and higher qualifications, accordingly to the university portal and register for the screening exercise.

Procedure For The 2025/2026 Pre- Admission Screening

  1. Visit https://portal.uniabuja.ng.com and click on “Click here to apply“,
  2. Click undergraduate link on the left panel,
  3. Enter your JAMB registration number and click on “Get Details“,
  4. Complete the basic information page (please note: enter ONLY valid number and email address and click Next),
  5. All candidates are requires to pay the sum of two thousand naira (N2,000) for the screening,
  6. On the payment review page click on “Generate RRR“and this takes you to next page,
  7. Click “Submit” and you will be restricted to the payment page,
  8. Enter Credit or Debit ATM card number and other details as appropriate and submit,
  9. Enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click “Continue” to complete your payment,
  10. After successful payment, click on “Main Login” on the portal, enter your JAMB registration and surname as Password,
  11. Click on “Login to dashboard” and completed your registration,
  12. Ensure that you print completed registration form and payment receipt.

NOTE: It is compulsory for all candidates to upload their O’level results to JAMB Portal, otherwise they will not be considered for admission.

University of Abuja School Fees Schedule For All Courses 2025/2026

The table below details the UNIABUJA School fees for new and returning students.

Ensure you note the correct fees for your department and pay the same via the school portal. Details on how to pay this fee have been provided below, continue reading.

Payment Guidelines On UNIABUJA School Fees 2025/2026

  • If you are a new or returning student of UNIABUJA, you can follow the simple steps outlined here to pay your school fees successfully.
  • Open your browser and visit the official university portal at uniabuja.edu.ng.
  • Enter your login details (username and password) to access your student dashboard.
  • Navigate to the “Fees” or “Payments” section and generate a payment invoice. This will show you the exact amount you are required to pay based on your program and level of study.
  • If you want to pay online, use a MasterCard or Visa card to make payment through the portal’s secure Remita platform.
    If you prefer paying at a bank? Print out the payment invoice containing a unique RRR code. Take this invoice to any commercial bank and pay over the counter.

Once the payment is completed, return to the university portal and log back into your dashboard.

Confirm your payment by verifying the transaction details provided.

After verification, download and print your receipt as proof of payment. Keep it safe, as it will be needed for further registrations or administrative processes.

You are advised to pay your school fees on time. Failure to do so will attract extra charges associated with late payment of fees.
