GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSIONS

ONE YEAR PRE-NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
WASCE, GCE O’level, NECO, NABTEB with a minimum of 2 credits and 2 passes from the subjects listed under each programme.

candidates are expected to have at least a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics and any other 2 relevant subjects to the course of study.

NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

To study any of Prime Polytechnic courses, the following are required;

• Five (5) Credit in not more than two sittings of WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent with Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and any three relevant subjects
• Prospective candidates must sit for UTME/JAMB and obtain the required cut-off mark
• He/She must have compulsory credit passes in English Language and Mathematics in SSCE to be qualified for admission.

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

For a candidate to be considered for admission in the institution, and run any Prime Polytechnic courses at HND level, the following general requirements must be met;

In addition to National Diploma requirements,

• A prospective candidate for Higher National Diploma must possess at least a lower credit (CGPA) of 2.50 in National Diploma in relevant ND Programme
• In exceptional cases, candidates with pass grade and a minimum of two years post qualification experience in the specified field may be considered for admission.
• A minimum of twelve (12) months of supervised industrial experience,
• Must possess 5 credit passes in relevant O-Level subjects in not more than two sittings.
• A transcript is required for admission into all HND programs in the institution especially prospective candidates from other institutions.
