UMYU Cut-Off Mark

Although, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had set the cut-off marks or benchmark of 160 for Universities, 120 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

Umar Musa Yar’adua University has however pegged their minimum cut-off marks to 160 above for it 2026/2027 admission exercise.

UMYU Admission Screening Requirements Details

In addition, to be eligible for admission into Umar Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) you must meet some certain admission requirements to be qualified for their screening exercise and be worthy to be offered provisional admission.

You will need the following underlisted documents such as:-

  • Printed copy of your JAMB result.
  • Original copy(s) of SSCE results (statements of result/certificate).
  • Birth certificate/Age declaration.
  • A Certificate/letter of good conduct from your village head or a responsible member of your community/or Civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or it equivalent.
  • Certificate of Local Government of origin.

UMYU Cut-Off Mark For All Departmental Courses

The Umar Musa Yar’adua University admission processes is highly competitive and admission are given based on meeting the cut-off marks for each departments.

UMYU departmental cut-off mark is usually different from their JAMB cut-off mark. The departmental cut-off mark is the final mark that will determine a candidate’s admission.

UMYU has not made its departmental merit/ELDS/Catchment cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 session public.
