Although, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had set the cut-off marks or benchmark of 120 for Universities, 100 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

Cut-Off Mark for AAUA

Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba has however pegged their minimum cut-off marks to 180 above for it 2026/2027 admission exercise.

For undergraduate entrance to AAUA, only those candidates who fall within the following criteria are permitted:

Those who selected Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) as their top choice university in the UTME for the 2026/2027 academic year and received a score of 160 or higher;

Direct Entry applicants who choose AAUA as their top choice of institution;

Those who took the UTME in 2026, scored 180 or higher, and are open to changing their educational institution of preference can choose Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.

AAUA Admission Screening Requirements Details

In addition, to be eligible for admission into Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA) you must meet some certain admission requirements to be qualified for their screening exercise and be worthy to be offered provisional admission.

You will need the following underlisted documents such as:-

  • Printed copy of your JAMB result.
  • Original copy(s) of SSCE results (statements of result/certificate).
  • Birth certificate/Age declaration.
  • A Certificate/letter of good conduct from your village head or a responsible member of your community/or Civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or its equivalent.
  • Certificate of Local Government of origin.
