LUTH Post Basic Nursing Admission Forms On Sale.
We are pleased to inform the public that applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), School of Midwifery and Post Basic Nursing Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) College of Nursing Sciences application form costs N10,000 and can be accessed via the official LUTH Admission Portal.
Candidates must have at least 5 O’Level credits (including English, Math, Biology, Physics, Chemistry) and a minimum JAMB score of 180.
- Step 1: Go to the LUTH Admission Portal to create your account.
- Step 2: Follow the prompts to pay the application fee N10,000 via Remita.
- Step 3: Log in at the LUTH Student Profile to complete and submit your application form.
- Step 4: Print a colored copy of your bio-data for the entrance examination.
- O’Level: 5 credits in WAEC/NECO at maximum two sittings.
- JAMB: Minimum score of 180 (for the Basic ND program).
- Age: Applicants must be at least 17 years old.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into the following schools of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi – Araba, Lagos, Nigeria:
College of Nursing Sciences – ND/HND – Non Terminal (Jamb minimum Score: 180 and Above).
School of Health Information Management – ND/HND – Terminal (Jamb minimum Score: 150).
Federal School of Biomedical Engineering – ND/HND – Terminal (Jamb minimum Score: 150).
(The above listed schools 1-3 require the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to be considered for entrance examination. )

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates are to visit the Admission Portal: https://luth.gov.ng/schools and click the school of interest for detailed information.
- Please ensure to read and adhere strictly to the admission requirements carefully before completing the account creation form of the school of interest to avoid disqualification.
- Complete the account creation form. Ensure you supply correct information, functional email address and phone contacts as required. An email containing your login details will be sent to you after the account creation. Through the email, you will get information on how to make payments.
- If you desire to make payment immediately, a prompt to “Make payment” will be highlighted after the account creation.
- You will be redirected to the Remita website where you can make payment. A Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code automatically generated when your account was created will be attached. Please note that various means of payment is supported on the platform.
- On successful completion of the payment, the applicant should visit: https://luthschools.edu.ng/profile and login with the user ID sent through the email and complete the application form for the desired programme.

NOTE: Applicants must print out copies of their completed online application Bio-data in coloured whi h would have been sent to their given E-mail Address on completion of application.

Admission Requirements
School Of Midwifery:
- Candidates must be Registered Nurses with at least one year post qualification experience and with a VALID LICENSE.
- Must possess five (5) Credits at O’Level in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Combination of results of not more than two (2) approved examination bodies i .e. GCE/WAEC or WAEC/NECO/.
Post-Basic Nursing
- Applicants should possess the RN qualification (with or without RM), five (5) credits in WASC/GCE/NECO/GCE induding English Language, Mathematics and Biology at not more than two sittings.
- Applicants who qualified from 2006 till date should have credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Two years post qualification experience and current practice licence issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria are mandatory for every applicant.
