How LAUTECH Aggregate Score Is Calculated
How to Calculate the LAUTECH Aggregate Score: Here’s how to figure out your LAUTECH aggregate score (JAMB cut off mark and Post UTME Score). Before proceeding, it is important to note that the school requires candidates to score at least 170 in JAMB and 50% in their post-UTME to be considered for admission.
AGGREGATE SCORE:
The LAUTECH Aggregate JAMB Score is 50% (your jamb score divided by 8) and will be combined with the Post UTME Score, which is also 50%, for a total score of 100%.
Here’s how candidates can figure out their LAUTECH aggregate cut off mark:
Please keep the following information in mind:
LAUTECH’s total JAMB score is 50%.
LAUTECH Post-UTME Aggregate Score = 50%
STEP 1: To calculate your aggregate score accurately and correctly, divide your JAMB score by 8.
STEP 2: Next, divide your Post-UTME score by 2.
If you follow the two steps outlined above, whatever your answers are, you must add (multiply) them to determine if your score is greater than 100.
For example, if Olufunke scored 200 in JAMB and 50 in Post-UTME, his total score would be calculated as follows:
- JAMB score divided by 8, or 200/8 = 25%
- Post-UTME score divided by two, 50/2 = 25%
Finally, add the two scores together to get Olufunke’s overall score. To do this, multiply 25% by 25% to get 50%.
Olufunke has a total score of 50%. Check Olufunke’s course, and if her departmental cut off mark is 50% or less, she has a 90% chance of admission.
