NYSC Batch ‘B’ Online Registration Guide & Requirements

NYSC Batch ‘B’ Online Registration and Orientation Dates has been Released! The Management of the NYSC has scheduled the 2025 Batch B Stream 1 Orientation to open 1st August and close 21st August 2025, while Batch B  stream 2 Orientation course would commence Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and close 24th September Nationwide.

All PCMs are to proceed to their Orientation camps at the camp addresses indicated in their call-up letters.

They are also advised to read the instructions on their Call-up Letters and adhere to them strictly and also to set out on time to avoid late night travels.

An internal memo broke out that contains the details and timetable for the NYSC 2025 batch B stream II orientation course.

NYSC Batch B Stream I

NYSC Camp Opens for Orientation course: August 1st – August 21st, 2025.

NYSC Batch B Stream II

NYSC Camp opens for Orientation course: September 3rd –  24th, 2025.

NYSC Online Registration Guide And Requirements

In order to ensure a seamless registration, Prospective Corp member (PCM) are to note the following for strict compliance:

  1. The Website address is any of the following:

(i) portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ (ii) www.nysc.gov.ng (iii) www.nysc.org.ng.

  1. PCM should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can assess and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
  2. Locally trained PCM are expected to use correct matriculation numbers to register.
  3. For locally trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board approved Result list submitted by their institutions will have access to the register on the NYSC portal.
  4. Foreign-trained PCM should ensure that their institutions are accreditted. where in doubt, it is their responsility to approach Federal Ministry of Education for verification. The Letter of verification must be uploaded during NYSC Batch ‘B’ online registration.
  5. Those who graduated from institution outside Nigeria, (Foreign Graduates) are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following document: (i) West African School Certificate (WAEC) or General certificate of Examination (GCE) or its equivalent. (ii) First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate. (iii) Transcript of the First Degree or HND (iv) International travelling passport showing data page and date of departure for the course of study.
  6. It is the responsility of the propective corp members who studied in non-english speaking countries to get their certificate and transcripts translated into English language before uploading.
  7. All graduates of Medicine, Veterinary medicine, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical laboratory science and Pharmacy are expected to have their certificates of registration with their professional bodies. Payments receipts are not acceptable.
  8. Unlike in the past, Foreign-trained graduates should NOT visit NYSC Headquater, Abuja for a verification of their documents. This excercise will now be done at Orientation camps in their State. They should simply print their call-up letters on-line and report at the orientation camps in their states of deployment, but should come to the camp with their original documents they uploaded for verification.
  9. Anybody who presents any fake documents will be demobilized and decamped.
  10. Prospective corps members should ensure that passport photographs used meet the following specifications: (i) Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending. (ii) Ensure the picture fills the frame and centralized. (iii) Ensure the photos background is white or off-white with no shadow.
  11. On no account should prospective corps members register by PROXY.
  12. Only prospective corps members who want their call-up number sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand naira (N3,000.00) (see NYSC portal on how to make payments).
  13. PCM who do not want to pay the N3,000 Naira have the option of going to their schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.
  14. All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration before but were not mobilized need not pay again.
  15. Married female prospective member (whether locally or foreign-trained) should upload copies of their marriage certificate, evidence of change of name and their husband’s place of domicile during NYSC Batch ‘B’ online registration.
  16. The orientation Camp is highly not ideal for pregnant and nursing mothers. Prospective Corps Members in these category are therefore to note that they will not be accomodated.
  17. PCM who graduated from institutions located in the following Geo-Political Zones with challenges related to mobilization should contact the following telephone numbers: (i) North Central- 08092142614 (ii) North East- 08102790538 (iii) North West- 08092142661 (iv) South East- 09038034460 (v) South West- 07019190810 (vi) South South- 08092142616.
  18. All part-time graduates are expected to register online and wait for collection of their letter of exclusion at their various institution. For those willing to print the letter of exclusion online, this can be done on payment of Three Thousand Naira (3,000.00) only.
  19. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE PORTAL IS CLOSED THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER REGISTRATION.
