The programme offers the chance of the award of the JUPEB Certificate whereby candidates can gain Direct Entry Admissions into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State and other Universities accepting JUPEB in Nigeria and Abroad.

The duration of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board, JUPEB, is a programme which covers one academic session of two semesters.

Submission of online UNIZIK JUPEB Admission Form 2026/2027 will be closed on Friday, 21st August 2026 at 11.59 pm.

HOW DOES JUPEB WORK?

Prospective Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board candidates must choose any THREE (3) A/L Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board Subject Combination plus General studies (English Language) identified with their preferred course of study in the university, which can be Science, Art, or Social Science.

Candidates would then be lectured for the allotted time at their respective Study Centre before sitting for the final examination. After completing the program, successful candidates use their Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board certificate to gain admission to any Nigerian tertiary institution at the 200 level via JAMB.

Duration of the JUPEB Program
JUPEB A’level programs are limited to one academic session (9-10 months) divided into two (2) semesters.

JUPEB Legibility

At UNIZIK, eligible candidates must possess minimum of Credit Level Pass at maximum of two (2) sittings in at least 5 subjects (inclusive of English Language) relevant to the candidate’s desired course of study in the University.

What are the JUPEB School Fees?

JUPEB School Fees: JUPEB program school fees vary from center to center and from university to university, as do private JUPEB centers. With this breakdown, we will give you the average JUPEB school fees. Once you have completed and submitted the JUPEB Form, you will be able to view the original fees for your desired JUPEB center.

Application/JUPEB Form is N30,000
The acceptance fee is N120,000
The JUPEB school fees plus the application fee total is N250,000.

JUPEB Fees Based on JUPEB Study State

JUPEB school fees vary depending on the study state, but be assured that they range between N255,000 and N290,000. The following are JUPEB School Fees based on available study centers:

Ilorin JUPEB Centre: N240,000; includes housing and textbooks.
Lagos JUPEB Centre: N280,000 (includes textbooks but not lodging).
JUPEB Centre in Portharcout: N270,000 (includes textbooks but excludes housing).
Ibadan JUPEB Centre: N240,000 (includes housing and textbooks).
Delta JUPEB Centre: N250,000; Textbooks Included Accommodation is included.
JUPEB Centre in Abuja: N270,000 (excluding accommodation and textbooks).
Anambra JUPEB Centre: N290,000 (includes housing and textbooks).
Ogun JUPEB Centre: N240,000 (includes housing and textbooks).
Anambra JUPEB Centre: N290,000 (includes housing and textbooks).
Imo JUPEB Centre: N290,000 (includes housing and textbooks).
Ondo JUPEB Centre: N240,000 (includes housing and textbook).
Enugu JUPEB Centre: N240,000 (includes housing and textbook).

Instalment Payment of JUPEB Fees:

The JUPEB school payment can be made a maximum of three times; the minimum amount a student can start with is N250,000 plus the hostel fee, and the remaining amount (N100, 000) can be paid twice; as interested JUPEB candidates are expected to have paid for the form, which is N30,000 (non-refundable) before the resumption to the specified account.

The second and third payments have three months interval for the full payment.

If the candidate has not paid the entire school fee, he or she will be unable to write the first-semester examination.

Interested candidates who wish to apply for JUPEB must have discussed their plans with their parents. Parents/guardians/custodians must be consulted before the application fees are paid.

ELIGIBILITY: UNIZIK JUPEB Admission Form 2026/2027

Eligible candidates are required to possess a minimum of Credit Level Pass in at least two (2) sittings with minimum of 5 subjects (including English Language) as relevant to the candidate’s desired course of study in the University. How To Apply: UNIZIK JUPEB Admission Form 2026/2027

If you want to obtain UNIZIK JUPEB Admission form 2026/2027 you should:

Step 1: visit jupeb.unizik.edu.ng
Step 2: click on JUPEB Portal.
Step 3: Click GENERATE APPLICATION INVOICE.
Step 4: Provide your Name, State of Origin, Phone number, Email and Submit.
Step 5: Use the RRR number you generated on the invoice and proceed to make payment in the bank or Pay Online.
Step 6: After payment, visit jupeb.unzik.edu.ng again, Click JUPEB Portal
Step 7: Now Click FILL APPLICATION FORM
Step 8: Enter your RRR number and click SUBMIT
Step 9: Proceed to Fill the Application form and print
Step 10: Print out your Application form as acknowledgement slip.

Final procedure(After your Application have been granted):

Step 1: Visit jupeb.unizik.edu.ng
Step 2: click LOGIN
Step 3: Use your Application form number as username and password, then LOGIN.
Step 4: Create Invoice for Acceptance fee, then Use the RRR to make payment. Then LOGIN and to Print Acceptance Letter (containing your Reg. Number).
Step 5: Create Invoice for School fees and use the RRR to make payment, then LOGIN to print receipt.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS

Applicants into the UNIZIK JUPEB 2026/2027 programme are advised to constantly visit UNIZIK website everyday for their admission status and other relevant information.
Candidates are required to register for 2026 JAMB Direct Entry during the programme.
All Candidates MUST use valid e-mail addresses and Personal phone numbers.
The forms must be filled and submitted online either immediately or before two weeks to closure of form sales.
Downloaded or printed copies of forms will NOT be accepted.
