When Is UNIBEN Post UTME Screening Date?
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Admission Screening Exercise for 2025/2026 Academic Session; will take place between Monday 15th September, 2025 and Saturday 20th October, 2025 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of the University.
The Screening Exercise will be Computer Based Test, CBT which requires that all candidates should be seated at least 1 hour prior to the Exam starting time.
Prior to the screening date, candidates who already applied before deadline should go back online to check for their specific screening date, time and venue for the screening.
Eligible Candidates:
UNIBEN Post UTME 2025/2026 Screening
Candidates who are eligible to seat for the UNIBEN Post UTME Screening come Monday 15th to 20th September 2025 includes:
- Persons who applied through JAMB UTME 2025/2026 and selected University of Benin as First Choice, and scored between 200 and above.
- Possessing a minimum of five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent; including English Language, and Mathematics (for courses which requires a credit in mathematics), as well as three other related subjects (four if excluding mathematics); at not more than two sittings.
Candidates are STRICTLY required to enter the Screening Centre with the following:
- Surgical Face Masks (NCDC prescribed), and Small-Sized Hand Sanitizers
- Acknowledgement slip
- Screening Invitation Slip that contains the screening schedule

Closing Date: UNIBEN Post UTME Application .
University of Benin, UNIBEN Post UTME Applications should be made between 8.00am Monday 4th August, 2025 to Midnight of sunday 31st August, 2025. Therefore, candidates who pay after the deadline of Midnight sunday 31st August. 2025 will be screened out.

How To Apply:
UNIBEN Post UTME Form 2025/2026
- Visit uniben.edu
- Select on Student Portal
- Click on WAEUP Portal.
- Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
- Insert your Surname the same way as registered on the JAMB Slip, and your JAMB Registration Number, then your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser.
- On the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal click on ‘Login’ (top right of front page).
- Enter your Username and password to login.
- To start the application process, Click on the ‘Application record’. Insert all required information and upload your passport photograph.
- Upload a RECENT and CLEAR “1 x 1” COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY. Great care should also be taken to follow the specified formats on the UNIBEN website and portal. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeiture of admission.
- To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “pay via Remita” on top left corner of the page. Follow the instruction to pay the application GROSS fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) with a valid ATM-Enabled card from any commercial Bank in Nigeria.
- Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
- Go back online on the appointed date (13th September, 2025) to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule.
