This internship is available to both postgraduate students and lecturers who desire to gain working experience and tropical research knowledge within Shell exploration and production companies across Nigeria.

The Shell Nigeria postgraduate internship is further divided into the following programmes:

Shell Nigeria Postgraduate Research Internship For University Students

The Shell Nigerian Postgraduate Research Internship program (which is different from the students Industrial Work Experience Scheme) is focused at providing opportunities for skilled/talented Nigerians Students to gain work experience and conduct research within shell exploration and production Companies in Nigeria.

Field of Study

• Environment Monitoring & Occupational Health (Industrial Hygiene)

Eligibility

• Applicants have to be a Nigerian Postgraduate Student presently enrolled in a Nigerian University.
• Applicants have to be a master Degree student below 30 years by Jan. 2nd, 2019 and Ph.D students should be below 35 years by Jan. 2nd, 2019 to be eligible.

2018/2019 Sabatical Attachment For University Lecturers

The Sabatical program offers opportunities to university Lecturers to conduct research that would contribute to shell exploration and production companies across Nigeria.

The program also grants opportunities for Lectureship at the centre of excellence in Geo-sciences and petroleum engineering at the University of Benin in the following discipline: Geo-physics, Petroleum Geology, and Petroleum Engineering.

Eligibility

• Under this category applicants must be a Nigerian
• He/She must a Senior Lecturers and above
• If you will be over 60 years by Jan. 2nd 2019 can not apply.
• Applications from persons who have previously taken part in the program will be rejected.

• Sabatical positions are highly competitive. Selection will be based on proposals that are relevant to SEPCiN business goals and objectives.
