Gani Fawehinmi annual Scholarship award is a yearly scholarship scheme in the name of the Prestigious?Chief Abdul-Ganiyu ?Gani? Oyesola Fawehinmi.
He was a Nigerian author, well respected publisher, philanthropist, social critic, seasoned human and civil rights lawyer, politician and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Indigent students from public universities in Nigeria send in their application to the offices located in the different state around Nigeria.

Scholarship Benefits:
The award is for 20 (twenty) students, each of whom will receive One hundred Thousand Naira (?100,000) making a total sum of Two Million Naira (?2,000,000.00).
Are You Eligible For Gani Fawehinmi annual Scholarship award?
(1) Applicants must be poor and indigent.
(2) Applicants must be registered students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria i.e Universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
(3) Applicants must have good academic performance
Mode of Application for Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship
(A) Each applicant shall submit an application letter, not more than two (2) pages. The letter must include the name of the candidate, course and year of study, state of origin and why the candidate believes that he or she should be given the award.
(B) The application letter must be accompanied by:
(i)A photocopy of the candidates current identity card
(ii) A letter from the candidates current head of department, including correct information on the candidates CGPA for the last academic session.
(iii) A letter from the registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution.
(iv) A copy of the candidates’ registration form for the current semester, and
(v) Two current passport photographs
