University of Bristol Think Big Scholarships For September 2025 entry:
Awards are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. These scholarships are for applicants with overseas fee status who have applied for an eligible undergraduate or master’s course.
Scholarships available:
Think Big undergraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500 and £13,000 for each year of study.
Think Big postgraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500, £13,000 and £26,000 for each year of study.
Postgraduate students can also apply for the Think Big Career Accelerator. This bespoke employability programme is designed to boost your confidence in finding employment or advancing your career after graduation, and comes with a £3,000 scholarship.
Scholarship Objective:
These scholarships are intended to be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.

Application tips
- Ensure you are completing the correct form for your study level.
- The form cannot save your progress. Complete the application form in one session. Once you submit your application you cannot make any changes to your application after submission.
- You’ll get an email confirming receipt of your application. Check your junk or spam folder if you do not receive it.

Are You Eligible For Engineering Scholarships for overseas Students?
Scholarships will be given to all candidates who arrive to study and who have achieved AAA at A Level, or the international equivalent.
To win a scholarship, one of the the A*s must be in Maths, Further Maths, or Physics; General Studies A Level, or A Level languages where that language is your native language, will not be counted for the purposes of the scholarship.
International equivalencies of AAA at A Level are at the discretion of individual admissions tutors in departments.

- Applicants must have an A in Maths, Further Maths, or Physics.
