ABSU Post-UTME Registration cut-off mark, Eligibility, application fee, deadline and all relevant details have been announced. The 2026/2027 Abia state University, ABSU Cut-off marks are 150.
The ABSU Post-UTME application fee is N2,000. The registration period is Monday 27th July to Monday 31st August 2026.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR ABSU POST-UTME?
- All candidates who selected Abia State University as their First or Second choice, and those who did not choose the University in the UTME but want to do change of Institution to Abia State University, ABSU.
- Candidates who scored up to the Abia State University cut-off mark of 150 or above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), are hereby invited to register for Aptitude Test exercise.
- All Direct Entry candidates are also invited for the Aptitude Test.
The Registration forms for the Aptitude Test are available online from Monday 27th July 2025. The date for the aptitude test will be announced later.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Eligible candidates should Log on to the ABSU portal (abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) and generate an invoice.
- Proceed to any branch of our designated Banks listed below and pay N2,000.00 only.
- ABSU Microfinance Bank;
- Sky Bank Plc;
- Signature Bank Plc;
- Zenith Bank Plc;
- First Bank Plc;
- Ecobank Plc,
- Fidelity Bank Plc;
- Union Bank Plc;
- UBA Plc.
- Payment via bank Debit card
-Get back to the ABSU portal (abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) and click on Applicant.
-Select ABSU Aptitude Test
Complete the Application Form, ensure you upload a clear passport photograph to avoid rejection of candidate and download a copy as an evidence of registration.
NOTICE:
Candidates who do not register for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise will not be considered for an admission.
CLOSING DATE:
The closing date for the registration of the Aptitude Test wil be Monday, 31st August, 2026.
