The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has published the Examination Time-Table for 2025 2nd series WASSCE, Private Candidates (WAEC GCE).
The WAEC GCE Exam 2025 Second Series examination will run from Friday, October 24, 2025, to Thursday, December 18, 2025. For the first time, this series will feature a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format for the objective papers.
Important dates:
Registration period: Registration for the exam ran from June 9, 2025, and officially closed on September 7, 2025.
Examination dates: The CBT examination period is scheduled for October 24 to December 18, 2025.

The full subject-by-subject timetable can be found below for you to download. It is available as a downloadable PDF file with details of the specific dates and durations for each subject.
Key exam change for 2025
CBT format: The objective sections of the exam will be conducted via CBT at accredited centers. Full migration to CBT, including essay papers, is planned for 2026.
Preparation: Candidates are encouraged to use CBT practice software to familiarize themselves with the new format before the examination.
