1. Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State

The Adeyemi college of education in Ondo state is regarded as the best college of education in Nigeria due to their great standard of teaching and training techniques. The college was established in 1963 and named after Canon M. C. Adeyemi, an Anglican priest, for his great contribution to education in Ondo State.

The College can boast of five schools with twenty-eight departments namely: Education, Arts and Social Sciences, Languages, Sciences and Vocational and Technical Education.

2. Federal College of Education, Zaria

Federal College of Education, Zaria popularly known as FCE Zaria is another reputation college with great standard of teaching which you should consider.

The school is located in Zaria, Kaduna state and was founded in November 1, 1962 as Northern Secondary Teachers College before being renamed Zaria Teachers? College.

The College offers application in the field of Pre-NCE, NCE, Professional diploma in education and remedial programs.

?3.?Niger State College of Education, Minna

The Niger State College of Education is owned and operated by the Niger state government. It?s located in the Niger State capital but founded in 1975 and in 1983. It was upgraded to a college of Education later on.

The school has six colleges and a total of 32 departments which include: Education, Arts and Social Sciences, Languages, Science, Technical Education and Vocational Education.

4. Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo

This institution was founded in May 1977 as Federal Advanced Teachers College for Special Education, FATC (SE).

Until the 1993/1994 academic session, the University of Ibadan through the Institute of Education and the Department of Special Education supervised all teaching and learning activities in the college. The college awards NCE certificates in all Pre NCE and NCE programs.

5. Federal College of Education, Kano

This College of education was established in 1961 and located in Kofar Famfo road, Kano State.

In 1990, the college became a Federal Government owned school when it was taken over by the Federal Government and was as the Federal College of Education, Kano.

The college is made up of five schools which include; Education, Languages, Sciences, Vocational Education and the Schools of Arts and Social Sciences.

6. Federal College of Education, Abeokuta

Established in 1976, the federal college of education is another top college of education in Nigeria. The school is located in Osiele area of Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

The college offers awards in NCE, Pre NCE and sandwich programs leading to the award of national Certificate of Education (NCE).

7. College of Education, Warri

The college is a state owned higher institution run by the Delta state government, that was founded in October, 1979.

The school presently runs Degree programs in Education. To gain admission offers into the college, you will require a minimum of 4 o?level passes. It awards certificates of NCE to it graduads.

8. Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo

The Emmanuel Alayande College of Education was established by the Church Missionary Society in 1896. And was originally named as St. Andrew?s College.

9. College of Education, Agbor

The College was founded by the defunct Bendel state In October 1979 and latter started operations in August 1981. It was established to train professional teachers and awards NCE certificate. It is currently made up of six school and dozens of departments.

10. College of Education, Ikere

The college of education, ikere is among the best in the country. It is located in ikere and affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
