Federal College of Education, Okene or fceokene as it is commonly known is a federal college is situated in Kogi State Southern Nigeria. It’s among the best Federal College of Education we have here in Nigeria.
The college was established to trains students to carry out different roles in the Nigerian education sector, most of these roles are teaching and training roles. The college has no religious affiliations, the college is a full federal funded and managed institution.

To be offered a place in Federal College of Education, Okene applicants must meet all conditions or admission requirements to be offered provisional admission into the college.
- Candidate(s) who choose the Federal College of Education, Okene as their first choice of institution during UTME and whose cut off points is 150 and above are eligible to apply. For degree programs, UTME applicants who score at least 180 and above are eligible.
- Direct Entry candidates with a minimum of 8 points, in NCE final exam, are also eligible to apply for degree programs.
- A candidate has to obtain any of WASSSC, NECO or GCE ?O? Level with at least passes in Five (5) subjects to include English Language, 3 of which have to be at credit level at the same sitting or 4 credits at 2 sittings. Two of the credits have to be relevant to the program the candidates desire to offer.
- A Credits in Mathematics and English may be requested or needed in some courses to meet departmental criteria.
- Candidates should also note that all full-time NCE courses will runed for a minimum of three regular years.
- Candidates who are interested in furthering their education can enroll for any of the degree programmes offered by the institution upon completion of their NCE courses.
