Although, there has been an increase in the number of universities in Nigeria but a drop in the standard and quality of education. Below is the list of Top 10 Universities In Nigeria as ranked by the National University Commission (NUC) 2024.

University of Ibadan
For the second consecutive year, this school ranks first on the list, beating the likes of University of Lagos as the best federal university in the country. The University of Ibadan has been the preferred choice for many Nigerian students who desire to pursue various programs and degrees in various courses of study.
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)
