The National University Commission (NUC) latest Nigeria University Ranking for 2024 is out with University of Ibadan (UI) still ranking high on the list of Top 10 universities in Nigeria.

The Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) is a rank of world university web presence. And below is the updated 2024 edition of the top 10 universities in Nigeria from the webometrics results.

Although, there has been an increase in the number of universities in Nigeria but a drop in the standard and quality of education. Below is the list of Top 10 Universities In Nigeria as ranked by the National University Commission (NUC) 2024.

University of Ibadan

For the second consecutive year, this school ranks first on the list, beating the likes of University of Lagos as the best federal university in the country. The University of Ibadan has been the preferred choice for many Nigerian students who desire to pursue various programs and degrees in various courses of study.

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

Obafemi Awolowo University is another top university in Nigeria that has been ranked among the best higher institutions in Africa. OAU is located in Osun state and it is one of the most coveted institutions in the southwest region of the country.
