Nnamdi Azikiwe University Admission Requirements
To study at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, you must possess the following requirements:
- The candidate must be over 16 years of age in the year of admission (Some student swear an affidavit just to increase their ages)
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
- Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II and GCE O/Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.
- The candidate must make at least 180 pass mark in JAMB to qualify for internal screening.

UNIZIK Post-UTME / DE, Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Procedure.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) has announced registration for its 2025/2026 UNIZIK POST-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for candidates. The UNIZIK general Cut-off mark is 150.
Application cost is N2,000. Registration starts on Monday, 28th July, 2025 and ends on Saturday, 16th August, 2025.
UNIZIK POST-UTME Details for Registration
As UNIZIK POST-UTME Screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session approaches, it is imperative tonnote that:
- Registration starts on Monday, 28th July, 2025 and ends on Saturday, 16th August, 2025.
- Change of course or change of institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (and its affiliate institutions) ends on Saturday, 9th August, 2025. Any change done after this date will not be valid.
- Compulsory upload of O’level result/s (and A’level results for DE candidates) on JAMB Caps ends on Saturday, 16th August, 2025
- Visit http://apply.unizik.edu.ng
- Start with Creating a UNIZIK application account:
- Then validate your JAMB registration number, supply your LGA and UTME subjects combination and click on Submit change.
- Next provide an email address, phone number, Date of birth, password and click on update profile.
- Validate your account by providing the code sent to your email. Click Verify and Click Proceed to Sign in.
- On the sign in page, Login with your JAMB number/email and password.
- After a successful login, on the Dashboard, Click O’Level to add O’level results.
- Click Buy Form to pay the sum of N2,000 (pay online with debit card or print account details and pay at the bank)
- After payment return to the portal and Click on SUBMIT form to submit your application.
You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
Notice that you can edit your O’level results while the registration is still ongoing, after which it will be locked for editing in due time.
UNIZIK Post UTME Application Deadline: 16th August, 2025.
- Candidates who are not eligible for the courses they applied for due to wrong UTME subjects combination are advised to choose from the list of suggested course’s on their eligibility status.
- Affected candidates should also go to JAMB CBT centres and change their course/s to reflect their new choices before they can successfully register for Post-UTME.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
In addition to the UNIZIK Post UTME details for registration above, candidates must also ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka with hard copies of their JAMB E slip.
O level result/s, OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level result/s to the office of Deputy Registrar (Admissions) on or before Saturday, 16th August, 2025.
Any candidate whose transcript is not received before the stipulated period will not be considered for admission.
