Other Considerations

According to US immigration regulations, an individual who completes a period of stay of less than five years as a J-1 research scholar or professor and does not have another immediate appointment following the termination of the said stay, will not be able to return to the US as a J-1 research scholar or professor until the individual has been outside the US for at least a period of two years.
