General Information About POLCOM Prepaid CUG
The new POLCOM CUG is a typical prepaid CUG plan specially designed for the Nigerian Police as a communication platform among Police officers. This new prepaid CUG is being introduced for easier customer service/management.
The POLCOM CUG is a Closed User Group (CUG) that allows all members of this CUG to call and text other Police officers in the Airtel POLCOM family for FREE. A monthly access fee of N700 will be charged from each member of this CUG to enjoy this service.
Also, members of this CUG will be able to make calls to other people outside the POLCOM family by simply recharging with any Airtel recharge type. Was informed that if the line is white-listed would be able to subscribe (for a monthly package) by dialing 222700# or Send SMS MONTHLY BUNDLE to 222.Was also given the other service codes, the call tariff, and the terms and conditions.

How Does POLCOM Prepaid CUG Work?
MSISDNS/Numbers will need to be white-listed for this offer by Airtel, white-listed numbers will be given to Adonai Net to pass on to POLCOM customers. Only white-listed numbers will be allowed to access the POLCOM CUG plan. Once a customer is white-listed for the plan customer will be able to use any Airtel recharge card to pay for the monthly access fee.
Is POLCOM CUG Open To All Prepaid Customers?
No. This CUG is only open to Polcom customers who have been white-listed for this offer by Airtel.
How Does A Whitelisted Customer SUBSCRIBE For POLCOM Prepaid CUG?
A customer will recharge with any Airtel recharge card and dial 222700# or Send SMS Monthly bundle to 222.
How Much Is POLCOM CUG Monthly ACCESS FEE?
The monthly access fee for Polcom CUG is N700.
Is It Possible I Use AIRTEL Recharge Card On My POLCOM CUG Line?
Yes, you can use your Airtel Recharge Card. Simply recharge N700 or more with any Airtel recharge
card by dialing 126Recharge# then SEND.
Does Prepaid POLCOM CUG Access fee AUTO-RENEW MONTHLY?
Yes the access fee will be renewed automatically every month if the customer has N700 airtime balance on the line at the expiry of the monthly service.
What Happens If No Sufficient Airtime To AUTO-RENEW?
The customer’s line will be taken back to the holding service class and the customer will need to re-subscribe for the Polcom CUG by dialing 222700# or sending a Monthly bundle to 222. The customer must ensure he has at least N700 airtime on his line.
What Happens When POLCOM Customer Doesn’t RENEW MONTHLY ACCESS FEE?
- A customer who does not renew the Polcom CUG subscription will be placed in the Polcom holding class where the Polcom CUG service will no longer be available till the customer pays recharges and re-subscribes for the monthly service by dialing 222700# or sending Monthly bundle to 222.
- Where a customer who has renewed the monthly CUG subscription calls a customer who has not renewed the monthly CUG subscription, the customer who has renewed the CUG service will be charged the on-net rate of 20k/sec for calling a customer with an inactive CUG.
What Do I BENEFIT From Using POLCOM Prepaid CUG?
All customers in the Polcom Prepaid CUG will each receive 2500 minutes/100 CUG SMS monthly for free CUG calls and SMS amongst Polcom CUG members’. With on-net and off-net call rates of 20k/sec and 25k/sec respectively.
What Is The POLCOM HOLDING CLASS?
The holding class is where Polcom customers who do not renew the monthly CUG subscription will be placed. Customers in the holding class will not receive CUG benefits of 2500 minutes and 100 CUG SMS. Customers can only return to Polcom CUG after recharging and re-subscribing for service by dialing 222700# or sending a Monthly bundle to 222.
What Are The CALL TARIFFS On POLCOM HOLDING CLASS?
The Call tariff in the Holding Class is 40k/sec for 1st minute of the day (applies to on-net and off-net call), subsequent on-net and off-net is 20k/sec. Customers will also receive 20 free SMS (on-net only).
Can Unused CUG MINUTES Or SMS Be CARRIED OVER TO A New Month?
No. All unused minutes and SMS will be lost.
What Is POLCOM PREPAID CUG Validity Period?
A monthly subscription is valid for 30 calendar days i.e. validity means the date of subscription is day 1 (between 00:00 hrs. to 23:59hrs) to 23:59hrs of day 30.
