Calculate OOU Aggregate Score

How Many Questions is the OOU Post UTME Exams?

50 questions. You will be given a total of 50 questions from English language, Current Affairs and three other subjects usually similar to your JAMB subject combination. This information is based on the previous year’s post-UTME format we hope 2024 follows same suit.

To calculate OOU Post UTME, you should know that 50 questions of your subject combination are totaled or summed into 100 marks. And when divided by your score, you arrive at your aggregate score.

To make these explanations more simple, we have illustrated it below to help you understand.

How To Calculate OOU Aggregate Score

Now, to calculate your OOU aggregate score, divide your UTME score by 8 and your Post UTME score by 2 and you will arrive at your score.

For example;

JAMB score/8 = 50%
POST UTME/2 = 50%
50% + 50% = 100%

Assuming Simisola got 300 in UTME and she also score 80 in post UTME, then this is how to calculate the aggregate

300/8 =37.5%
80/2 = 40%
40% + 37.5% = 77.5%

So Simisola’s aggregate score is 77.5% out of 100%

Hope this is simple! This is how to calculate the aggregate score for the Olabisi Onabanjo university for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Please note that most higher Institutions adopt a formula that best suits their purpose for the screening exercise.

If Perhaps, you still need to know how to check your Post UTME result, simply go to the university website portal where you wrote your Post UTME and you will see a simple form where you will enter your exam numbers and pin code.

Submit the form by clicking on the submit button. And there have it! your result will be displayed on the page.

Yes, Wale, you can surely get admission. But, I would rather advise that you target 100% instead of being in the Average. You know why? Medicine in Nigeria is a very competitive Course for admission. So aim to be the best candidate so that you won’t miss your chances of admission and all you have worked hard to achieve.

Yes, you probably can be offered admission for URP. However 40% is on the low side for admission, EXCEPT you selected OOU for second choice.

You may probably be offered admission. Nursing is a high competitive course. You may alternatively be offered Microbiology Instead.

Computer science is a competitive course. 42% is a weak score for your course.

O’Level is a requirement. 58% is a good score. However, you may be granted admission to an alternative course if there are many more candidates with high aggregates.

Though your aggregate score is low, you can be offered admission where there a few candidates with high aggregate score for your course.
