You can apply for a Malaysian student visa at the Malaysia High Commission in Abuja. The application process is easy and not stressful if you can provide all the required documents.
All application for student visa must be made in person and attached with the following documents:
- Get a valid passport: This could have been gotten from a passport office in your State or City. It must be valid for 6 month beyond stay in Malaysia.
- Get a Visa application form, which you must be filled at the Malaysian embassy.
- Two white/blue background UK-sized passport photographs.
- Original and coloured copy of International Passport data page.
- Original and coloured copy of approved Yellow Fever Certificate.
- Original and copy of Admission letter from institute of higher learning in malaysia. This admission letter must be original and also duly stamped with contact details of the school/university in Malaysia.
- You must also acquire an original and a clear copy of Immigration Approval Letter.
- Original and clear copy of the highest obtained educational qualification certificate.
- Eligibility letter from the ministry of Education of Nigeria.
- Signed confirmation Letter from the sponsor.
- Copy of International Passport Data Page of the sponsor.
- Original and copy of Stamped latest bank statement?(last three months); with bank reference letter of the sponsor.
- Bank reference letter of the sponsor.
- For dependant: (a) a coloured copy of dependant’s International Passport data page and visa valid page; (b) Original and Copy of certificate of birth/marriage.
- All students going for Certificate or Diploma programmes are mandatory to have NDLEA Certificate.
Malaysian student visa application processing is resolved within 4 to 6 months working days of application submission. You can submit your application from Mondays to Frday from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Collection time is between 4.pm to 5.pm from Mondays to Friday except for public holidays.
