YABATECH Acceptance Fee Payment Final Deadline.
The Management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the deadline for final payment of Acceptance fees in the 2023/2024 Academic Session.
How Much Is YABATECH Acceptance FEE?
YABATECH Acceptance fee is 25,000 Naira. This excludes bank charges. The payment is made via Remita so a bank charge of approximately 162 Naira is charged. Therefore, the total amount you will pay is 25,162 Naira.
Candidates who are offered admission are advised to pay an Acceptance Fee of Twenty five thousand Naira (N25, 000.00).
All National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students admitted in the 2023/2024 Academic Session are hereby informed that the deadline for Final Payment of Acceptance fees is Friday May 11th, 2024.
You kindly Ensure the payment is made on or before the stated date.
Failure to pay before the given deadline may lead to forfeiture of Admission.
How To Pay YABATECH Acceptance Fee
There are two ways to make the acceptance fee payment, the first method is to pay online which is quite easier while the second method requires you to vist the bank.
We will explain the two methods in this article below.
How To Pay YABATECH Acceptance Fee ONLINE
In order to sufficiently may your payment you through this method, you must have the required amount in your bank account and a debit/ATM card.
Follow the steps below to pay your YABATECH acceptance fee online.
Candidates who have been offered admission can pay YABATECH acceptance fee when they do the following:
- Visit and open school Website via https://www.yabatech.edu.ng/
- Click on Acceptance Fee.
- Click on Applicant Login.
- Insert your UTME/Application Number.
- Click “Log-In”.
- Click on “Pay Now”.
- Click on “Make payment”.
- Select any payment option (Card Payment, OR Bank Payment).
- If the selected option is Card Payment, click Submit, enter your card details, and type your soft or hard token for MasterCard or the i-pin for Visa cards.
- After making payment, to print your receipt click on Print Evidence of Payment.
- Where the option selected is Bank Payment, click Submit and print the payment invoice then proceed to the bank to make payment.
- After bank payment, go back to the school Website, click on the Payment Confirmation/Validation link, enter the RRR number or Application/UTME number and click validate.
- After validation, click on “Print Evidence of Payment” to print your receipt.
- Return to the school Website, repeat STEP 3 and 5.
- Print out your Payment History.
- Update your Biodata and Print it.

Enter your JAMB registration number or application number (YCT) in the appropriate field. Enter your phone number and click verify. Select the academic session and the programme type then click on “generate YABATECH Acceptance fee invoice”. - Make Payment on Remita
Click on “Pay Online with ATM card” at the bottom of the page.
You will be redirected to a Remita page to start the payment process.
Preview the information on the page and make sure it is correct (with the exception of your email address).
On the Remita page, click on submit.

Enter your card details. Note that the CVV of your card is the three numbers at the back of your card.
Click on pay when you are done.
Your bank will send an OTP via email or SMS to authorize the payment. After the payment has been authorized, your payment will be posted successfully.
How To Pay YABATECH Acceptance Fee At A Bank
You can choose to pay at the bank if due to bad network you find it difficult to make payment or not comfortable paying with your card or you do not have an ATM card, then visit a commercial bank near you.
Follow the steps below to pay your YABATECH acceptance fee at any bank in Nigeria.
- Visit the Acceptance fee Payment Portal
The first step is to visit the YABATECH acceptance fee payment portal here. - Generate a Payment Invoice
Enter your application number or JAMB registration number and phone number in the space provided. Click on VERIFY. Then select your “Programme Type” and “academic session”. Click on “generate invoice”. - Copy the Remita Number
On the next page, you will see an invoice number (RRR). This number is also known as the Remita Retrieval Reference number. - Visit any Commercial Bank to make Payment
Visit any bank close to you to make a payment. On getting to the bank, you have to correctly fill in your name, the exact amount you are paying and invoice number on the bank teller. Tell the cashier that you want to make payment for Remita.
If you are having issues making this payment with banks outside the school premises, kindly visit the Zenith bank branch within the school to make payment.
After making your YABATECH acceptance fee payment, the next important thing to do is to ” Print your receipt” and commence the online screening.
How To Print Your Receipt for YABATECH Acceptance Fee
After completing your payment, the next step is to get your acceptance fee receipt. Follow the steps below to get your YABATECH acceptance fee receipt.
- Visit the Acceptance Fee Receipt Portal
Visit the YABATECH acceptance fee receipt portal on your device. - Enter your Details on the next page, enter your application number, Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) and programme year. Select Remita and then Click on Proceed under the payment platform option.
- YABATECH Acceptance fee confirmation page Print the Receipt if your YABATECH Acceptance fee payment was successful, you will get your acceptance fee receipt. Print the receipt or save it as a PDF file and print it when you visit a cyber cafe.
If you find it difficult to get your YABATECH acceptance fee receipt printed, the challenge might be from your bank or the school. You have to contact your bank first to confirm if the payment went through.

Hi Pearl, Every transaction goes with a receipt. maybe you should check back from mode of payment. like if you paid through Bank transfer, check your message box for your debit alert.
That depends on your mode of payment. It could also be affected by a bad network. If you don’t receive your receipt, visit the school admission office.

No, I haven’t
On Saturday 3rd of March 2023, I generated RRR(350804204397) which I used to pay my acceptance Fees online by Remita transfer into Fidelity(4552099984) account provided by the remita portal. Till now the RRR was not activated, from my bank immediately was successful transaction. Remita claim that is not seen, Yabatech said the payment does not reflect in there account but my bank replied that the account belong to remita support. Please was happening? Kindly activate the RRR and yabatech should pay attention to this means of payment hope is not to embezzle from the students. Have been on this issue for over one month. Thanks!
