University of Ibadan Admission Requirements And Application Process
Admission requirements by the University of Ibadan are determined by the particular course of study. Information regarding admission requirement is usually made available in the brochure published by JAMB every year.
For the College of Medicine, the student is required to have 5 O’Level credits in required subjects and at one sitting.
For Pharmacy, the student is expected to have 5 O’ Level credits with English and mathematics in stated subjects in the Jamb brochure at one sitting, just as it applies to Medicine.
In the other courses of study, the student is required to have 5 O’ Level credits at one sitting or 6 O’ Level credits at 2 sittings.
The first choice of result for admission is the O’ Level result. However, other relevant or equivalent results may be considered if the O’ Level result is deficient.

University Of Ibadan 2024/2025 Post UTME & Direct Entry Form
Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening of Prospective Candidates for rhe 2024/2025 admission exercise is now open.
Prospective candidates should note that the University of Ibadan’s admission portal will be opened for post-UTME/ Direct Entry Registration from Monday, 29 July 2024 to Saturday, 31 August, 2024.
Candidates should also note that there may be no extension of the registration period, i.e. 29/07/2024 to 31/08 /2024.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Eligible Candidates from 16 years of age and above and have score not less than 200 in their JAMB UTME/DE are adviced to log-in to the admission portal via https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng using their JAMB registration Number (e.g.12345678EG) as username, then Surname as Password in lower case (e.g. michael).
A portal access fee of N3,000, and Screening few of N2,000 should be paid through the the ADMISSION PORTAL in favour of University of Ibadan.
Candidate’s telephone number and e-mail address should be provided at the point of payment.
Upon a successful payment, candidates are to print the payment receipt, then proceed to completed their bio-data form, submit and then print out their copy.
Payment Options can be:
- Credit or Debit payments using ATM card
- Cash at bank using the print out from the portal to make payment at the bank
- Direct bank Account debit with the Internet banking App for payment.
University of Ibadan 2024/2025 Post UTME Schedule
The post-UTME examination shall take place from Monday, 16 September 2024.
The examination date for each candidate will be communicated in due course.
Candidates are therefore strongly advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers. The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers.
