This article basically highlights and list all science courses in ABU Zaria or otherwise known as Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)- popularly known as ABU Zaria?was founded on 4 October 1962. ABU Zaria is a federal government research university in Zaria, Kaduna State.
The Ahmadu Bello University currently operates two campuses: Samaru (main) and Kongo in Zaria. The higher institution also operates a pre-degree school in Funtua, just a few miles from the main campus. The Samaru main campus houses the administrative offices and the faculties of life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences, arts and languages, environmental design, education, engineering, agricultural sciences, medical sciences, and research facilities.
The Kongo campus houses the faculties of Administration and Law. The Faculty of Administration consists of Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Local Government and Development Studies Departments.
In addition, ABU Zaria has other affiliates to other institutions and programmes at other locations. It is christened after the Sardauna of Sokoto, Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello, the first premier of Northern Nigeria.
The university offers a wide variety of undergraduate and post-graduate programmes (and offers associate degrees, remedial and vocational programmes).
Ahmadu Bello University also has a large medical programme with its own ABU Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), one of the largest teaching hospitals in Nigeria and Africa. The higher institution is equally among the top universities we have in Nigeria.
