Kwara State University, Ilorin (KWASU) accepts minimum of Credit pass or its equivalent in relevant areas. Holders of HND (not HD) in other recognized Institutions and graduate of KWASU can enroll for PGD in KWASU.
University Of Ilorin, Kwara State (UNILORIN) accepts HND certificate with a minimum of Lower Credit from recognized Institutions, except MBA with Upper Credit.

Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Ogun State (FUNAAB) accepts HND holders for Masters/postgraduate programmes which include:
- Postgraduate Diploma Programme,
- Masters of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) programme,
- BA (Agri-Business) and Professional Master in Communication Studies degree programmes,
- Masters of Environment Management (MEM)
University of Ibadan, Ibadan Oyo State (UI) accepts HND for Masters/postgraduates courses. HND holders with a minimum of a Lower Credit and at least two years’ work experience are also eligible for admission.
Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Ondo State (AAUA) accepts HND, but not in all courses, and on certain terms, which includes:
- Postgraduate Diploma In Theology (PGD. Th.),
- Masters in Adult Education with Specialization in the following areas (i) Industrial Education and Training (ii) Community Development (iii) Social welfare (iv) Literacy Training and Development
- Postgraduate Diploma In Education (FULL-TIME & SANDWICH)
- Professional Master’s Degree Programmes
Olabisi Onabanjo University, Agoiwoye Ogun State (OOU) accepts HND for her postgraduate diplomas and Masters which includes:
- Postgraduate Diplomas – with a minimum of Lower Credit
- Professional Degrees (MPA, MBA, and MBF) – Upper Credit
- Master Degrees – HND in appropriate discipline with a minimum of Upper Credit and professional qualification such as PGDP, AIB, ACA, ACII, ACI and ACIS may also be considered.
Imo State University, Owerri also accepts HND not below Upper Credit.

Statistics is in the same field as Mathematics. With your HND + PGDE, you can apply to study Mathematics Education at UNILAG.

Study what is in your field. Mathematical Education is good to go with HND Statistics.
