Apart from the kits you will be issued at NYSC Orientation Camp, there are Necessary Personal Effects you would also need to take along with you on your own, before the resumption of every orientation camp, the NYSC has in its budget the expenditure allotted to every corp member, unfortunately it can not go beyond that.
The kits you will be given are always one pair each, and imagine you using a T-shirt or a pair of white shorts for three straight weeks, especially as a female corp member, that would be absolutely absurd, this is why you must beyond the NYSC budget, make alternative provisions for necessary personal effects, such that will make life a bit convenience while going through the hurdles of the three weeks mandatory NYSC orientation camp exercise.

Below are a list of what you can get for yourself to take to the camp, I will in the next post state all that you do not need at the NYSC orientation camp because a certain corp member absentmindedly went to the camp with a television set -it happened live!!!
- Plain white sneakers or tennis shoes
- Round-necked white T-shirts
- white shorts
- white socks
- waist pouch
- touch lights
- handkerchief
- towel
- pair of slippers
- detergents
- antiseptics
- padlocks
- Toiletries😕Toilet Paper, Sanitary Pad, soap dish etc
- cream, roll-on, spray(little but very important)
- Beverages
- Clipper(male corp members especially)
- food flask
- bedspread and pillow case
Never forget you will also need some pocket money if you would want to have a little relieve off the camp food, all the food you can think of can be found in Mammy and available for every tribe,
ATM card is inevitable, there are so many latent expenses you would never negotiate but they will unavoidably come up, so you have to take a wide note of that.
That may be all you will need to take to the NYSC orientation camp! notwithstanding, you can use your initiative and get other personal effects as you may deem necessary!
