The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) invites applications from Niger Deltans who desire to obtain a Masters or Ph.D degree programme from any universities abroad.
NDDC foreign scholarships seeks to equip Niger Deltans with relevant training and skills for effective participation in the local content programme of the current administration as well as compete in various professions globally.

Only Nigerian citizens from the Nine (9) Niger Delta ( Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross river, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers) are eligible to apply.
Eligibility For NDDC Foreign Scholarships
- Applicants must be an indigenes of the Niger Delta States.
- To apply for this scholarship candidates must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Applicants must have completed their bachelor or master degree programmes with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower or a good master’s respectively.
- They must have gained admission into a postgraduate programme in any of the listed disciplines in a recognised foreign university abroad: Engineering, Medical Sciences, Computer Science/Technology, Geology, Geo-Science, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Oil Law, And Project Management.
