In the timeline of events attached to the JAMB Bulletin, the board announced that the sales of JAMB e-Pins for registration begins on 8th JANUARY and ends 24th JANUARY 2024. While Registration begins 15th JANUARY and ends 26th FEBRUARY 2024. Direct Entry e-Pins vending and registration begins on 28th FEBRUARY and ends on 28th MARCH 2024.

UTME holds from Tuesday, 19th April to Monday, 29th April 2024.

Mock Examination holds on 18th March 2024 for Candidates who register early and indicate willingness to sit for the Mock UTME.

JAMB have again extend Direct Entry registration to 17th June, 2024 due to technical itches after rescheduling JAMB Exam candidates who missed their exams due to technical difficulties in their exam centres.

Also NOTE that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced Computer Studies and Physical and Health Education as part of its UTME subjects.

The JAMB 2024 UTME Registration Forms overall cost is N4,700 which consists of the break down of Registration Fee N3,500, Compulsory Reading Text N500, and Service Charge for Registration N1,500.

How to Obtain JAMB 2024 UTME Registration Forms

Candidates are advised to keep as private and confidential their security details such as registration numbers, password/numbers of ATM Cards, email addresses, and e-PINs. No centre is permitted to request for or accept a candidate’s password.

How to Apply for JAMB 2024 UTME Registration Forms in Foreign Countries.

JAMB 2024 UTME Registration fee for candidates from the eight foreign countries is $20 or any of its equivalent in each of the eight countries.
Candidates who are applying from the eight foreign countries are to download the Application from the Board’s website (www.jamb.gov.ng) complete and submit it with the fee at the eight designated centres as indicated on the website.

JAMB REGISTRATION PROCESS AT CBT CENTRES:

The candidate presents the ePIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Centre for completion of registration. The name of the candidate as typed by the candidate on his/her phone when registering the proﬁle comes up automatically on the input of the e-PIN by the CBT centre.

Candidates are to:

Pay NOT more than N1,500 as Service Charge to the CBT Centre.
Provide Biodata including Date of Birth, Nationality, State of Origin, Local Government, Gender, e-mail address, among others.
Provide choice of institutions and programmes.
Provide qualiﬁcation with grades and dates, if not awaiting result.
Upload relevant certiﬁcates, if not awaiting result.
O/L and or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting results should supply the results online as soon as they are available on JAMB’s portal. No recommendations from any Institution will be considered by JAMB if the candidate has not supplied his/her result on the portal of JAMB.
Supply JAMB registration number for previous institutional certiﬁcates for DE only.
Provide UTME subjects and choice of examination town(s) for Mock examination (optional), and Examination for UTME (actual examination).
Do picture capture (no scanning of passport photograph).
Do Biometric enrolment (ten ﬁngers).
Review entries and conﬁrm correctness.
Print Registration Slip USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION.
Collect, at no other cost, the reading text, and CD.
Each Candidate is to collect his/her e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration.
There will be no ofﬂine registration, as all the accredited CBT centres have been empowered for real-time online registration. No candidate should register at any centre other than the accredited CBT centre and JAMB State-Ofﬁces. Any candidate who is registered outside approved centres will be identiﬁed and disqualiﬁed.

How To Register NIN For JAMB 2024 For FREE

It is confirmed that candidates need NIN to register the next Jamb. Then, how can anyone apply to get the NIN for JAMB Registration? Note that JAMB has made an adequate arrangement with the NIMC for prospective candidates to be registered at the JAMB approved CBT centers or with its licensed agents.

Although it is not compulsory to register NIN in JAMB centers for better conveniences or to avoid the long queue in the exam centers, you can register NIN at any of the NIN registration centers in all 36 States in Nigeria. Click HERE

Follow the guide below to obtain your NIN for 2024 JAMB Registration:

Walk into the enrolment Centre with a supporting document (see possible list of documents below).
You will be given an enrolment form to fill
Applicant’s forms will be cross-checked by a NIMC Official to confirm the information filled on the form against the supporting documents provided and to check for any errors filled on the form.
Your pre-filled information will be inputted on the NIMC Software by a NIMC enrolment officer or the Barcode slip will be scanned by the NIMC enrolment officer to populate all the required fields.
The enrolment officer will ask the JAMB candidate to double-check his/her information for errors using the applicant monitor.
If the applicant confirms his/her demographic information to be correct, the biometrics (ten fingerprints and facial image) of the applicant will be capture next.
A National Identification Number (NIN) Slip will be issued to you after processing.

How To Find Your JAMB NIN

A Slip will be given to you containing your National Identification Number after registering NIN for JAMB 2024. You can also check your NIN by dialing *346# on your Mobile phone. The service costs just N20.
