Are you seeking for admission into Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBU)? You would like to know the approved 2025/2026 cut-off mark for your departmental course in IBBU. Although, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had set the cut-off marks or benchmark of 150 for Universities, 120 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education, 140 for schools of nursing.

Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai has however pegged their minimum cut-off marks to 160 above for it 2025/2026 admission exercise. This indicates that all JAMB applicants with scores of 160 or higher who selected Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University as their university of choice are qualified to submit an application for admission.

Your chances of being admitted are not assured if you don’t meet the minimum needed cut-off point. However, if you have a high JAMB score and at least 5 credits from WASSCE or NECO in topics related to your course of study, you will be given admission and won’t face any obstacles.

In addition, to be eligible for admission into Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, you must meet some certain admission requirements to be qualified for their screening exercise and be worthy to be offered provisional admission.

  • Printed copy of your JAMB result.
  • Original copy(s) of SSCE results (statements of result/certificate).
  • Birth certificate/Age declaration.
  • A Certificate/letter of good conduct from your village head or a responsible member of your community/or Civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or it equivalent.
  • Certificate of Local Government of origin.
