And the short answer to the question is, the Senate list is a special list by an institution that contains the names of graduates qualified for the National Youth Service program for a particular batch or stream.
The Senate Approved list is simply a compilation of names of eligible candidates qualified to be mobilized for NYSC at a given period of time. These lists are usually submitted by the Students Affairs Department of your School as at the point when you got admission into the institution.

How To Verify Your Name In Senate Approved List
- Login to the NYSC Online registration Website/Portal via this link (in new tab).
- Under select institution, select your school name.
- Enter your Matriculation Number.
- Followed by your surname.
- Then your date of birth.
- Hit the Search Button to know what’s up.
Please Note: If however you did not see your name or you saw “No Record Found”, then one or two things may have happened. (1) Your School did not submit your details properly or (2) Some errors were made while inputting your record on the website.
