Below is an example of the numerical reasoning test:

The distance between Adeleke?s house and college is exactly 135 miles. If she drove 2/3 of the distance in 135 minutes, what was his average speed, in miles per hour?

  1. 40
  2. 45
  3. 60
  4. 5
  5. It cannot be determined from the information given.

Since you want to solve for speed, it is important that you recall the speed formula. Speed is calculated as distance divided by time.

Begin by calculating the distance. You are told in the question that Adeleke covers 2/3 of 135 miles. This is equivalent to (2/3*135) 90 miles.

The next step is to calculate the time. You could just have made use of 135 minutes if you were asked to calculate the speed in miles per minute. The question requires that you convert the minutes into hours by dividing it by 60 minutes. That is (135/60) 2.25 hours.

With the distance (90 miles) and time (2.25 hours), the average speed in miles per hours is (90/2.25) 40.?The correct is therefore A.

KPMG Aptitude Test Essay Writing

You will be required to choose between two essays to write on. The time span of the essay writing is 30 minutes and you would have submitted the other sections before commencing this section. This part is usually the last.

Examples of essays which have been written in the past surround the below topics:

Corruption

Where you see yourself in the next 25 years

Is childhood important to a child?s development? Yes or No

Write on any topic of global importance and why it is of universal importance
