For those who have been asking, is FUTA Post-UTME form out for 2024? When is the date for 2024 FUTA Post-UTME screening? How do I register for FUTA Post-UTME before the deadline? This article for you. You shall find below the latest FUTA Post UTME 2024/2025 Updates as at today.

Candidates who make FUTA their first choice in the just concluded UTME exercise 2024, and scored 180, and above are eligible for the screening exercises.

FUTA Post-UTME registration, cut-off mark, screening date, application cost and deadline for the 2024/2025 Academic Session has been announced. Cut-off mark is 180.

Application cost is N2,000. Deadline is September 20th. Screening holds September 23rd-26th, 2024.

Full details below;

  • FUTA Post UTME 2024/2025 registration will start on August 7th, 2024.
  • The closing date for FUTA Post UTME online registration and screening is September 20th, 2024.
  • FUTA Post UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session will commence on September 23rd, 2024 and end 26th September, 2024.

The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Computer-Based Post-UTME screening exercise for admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2024/2025 Academic session will be on Monday, 23rd September.

FUTA Post-UTME form

REGISTRATION: WEDNESDAY, 7TH AUGUST TO FRIDAY, 20TH SEPTEMBER, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2024/2025 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE)
  • Candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening.
  • In addition, each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
  • Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.
  • FUTA will not consider candidates with Awaiting Results. Candidates MUST have at least a pass in physics to qualify for admission into any programme in FUTA.

SCREENING FEE:

FUTA Post UTME Screening form for 2024/2025 is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) payable at any bank on e-Tranzact platform only, while the registration fee is One Thousand Naira Only (N1,000).

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Candidates are required to:
i. Visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) for information
ii. Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application form online; and
iii. Print out a copy.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE: The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise. Please note that the candidate UTME Registration Number and the Full Names (as it is on JAMB Slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.

After payment, each candidate should visit the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng) and complete an online Registration Form. The completed Form should be printed for the candidate’s use.

SCREENING SCHEDULE (2024/2025 ADMISSIONS EXERCISE)
DAY DATE SCHOOL(S)

  1. Monday, 23rd September, 2024 – School of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology (SAAT), School of Environmental Technology (SET), School of Earth and Mineral Sciences (SEMS), School of Health & Health Technology (SHHT)
  2. Tuesday, 24th September, 2024 – School of Engineering & Engineering Technology (SEET)
  3. Wednesday, 25th September, 2024 – School of Computing (SOC) and School of Sciences (SOS)
  4. Thursday, 26th September, 2024- MOP-UP/DIRECT ENTRY.

ALSO NOTE THAT:
(i) All candidates should bring along the following items to the screening venue:
(a) Depositor’s copy of Bank Teller indicating payments as appropriate;
(b) JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration slips;
(c) Printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form;
(d) Print-out of e-Tranzact payment receipt (collected from the Bank) and
(e) One passport photograph.
(f) Candidates who would like to have a feel of CBT Practice Module should visit FUTA WEBSITE. This is OPTIONAL.

(ii) The venue of the screening exercise is the FUTA Digital Resource Centre, Obanla Campus, The Federal University of Technology, Akure.

(iii) Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones, I Pad, Walkman, wrist watches or any other electronic gadget and extraneous materials into the screening hall.

(iv) For more information or clarification or other issues, candidates can visit the University website www.futa.edu.ng 

(v) Candidates who chose to study Financial Management Technology in FUTA are advised to change to other Institutions as the programme is NOT OFFERED in the University.

NOTE: Any UTME candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the Computer-Based Screening Exercise will NOT be considered for admission by the University.

To apply for FUTA Post UTME screening for the 2024/2025 academic session, follow these simple steps:

  • Visit the official FUTA admission portal for 2024 at www.futa.edu.ng.
  • Click on the 2024 Post UTME registration link.
  • Provide the necessary information and establish a personal profile.
  • Generate a payment invoice.
  • Choose from the available payment options to complete the payment process.
  • Finish the registration process and print out your FUTA Post UTME registration slip.

Does FUTA accept 180?
Candidates must receive a score of at least 180 on the recently completed JAMB UTME exam in order to be admitted to the Federal University of Technology Akure.

What is the subject combination for FUTA post UTME?
UTME subjects must include:

  • English Language, Mathematics, chemistry, and physics.
