Federal College of Education, Okene or fceokene as it is commonly known is a federal college is situated in Kogi State Southern Nigeria. It’s among the best Federal College of Education we have here in Nigeria.

Federal College Of Education Okene Courses

The college was established to trains students to carry out different roles in the Nigerian education sector, most of these roles are teaching and training roles. The college has no religious affiliations, the college is a full federal funded and managed institution.

The FCE okene also welcomes prospective students from different parts of the world irrespective of their background. Student body is quite large and diverse in this college.

The school offers several facilities to her students to ensure they have the best academic stay, some of these facilities include, Classrooms, Hostels, Good road network, Library, Clinic etc.

The FCE Okene tuition is very affordable going for less than 100,000 naira. The school offers fulltime courses in more Social Science & Commerce programs than in Science Courses.

Federal College Of Education Okene Courses, School Fees & Requirements

To be offered a place in Federal College of Education, Okene applicants must meet all conditions or admission requirements to be offered provisional admission into the college.

  • Candidate(s) who choose the Federal College of Education, Okene as their first choice of institution during UTME and whose cut off points is 150 and above are eligible to apply. For degree programs, UTME applicants who score at least 180 and above are eligible.
  • Direct Entry candidates with a minimum of 8 points, in NCE final exam, are also eligible to apply for degree programs.
  • A candidate has to obtain any of WASSSC, NECO or GCE O’Level with at least passes in Five (5) subjects to include English Language, 3 of which have to be at credit level at the same sitting or 4 credits at 2 sittings. Two of the credits have to be relevant to the program the candidates desire to offer.
  • A Credits in Mathematics and English may be requested or needed in some courses to meet departmental criteria.
  • Candidates should also note that all full-time NCE courses will runed for a minimum of three regular years.
  • Candidates who are interested in furthering their education can enroll for any of the degree programmes offered by the institution upon completion of their NCE courses.

      Hi Vincent Odion. if you are still a student of Fed College of Education Okene on an NCE programme, you just proceed for HND with your NCE result in the same School, but if you wish to enroll in another school, you will apply through Direct Entry.
