On these premises, we list the top ten best States to serve as a Youth Corper in Nigeria.
1. Lagos State
The number one best place you can do your NYSC will off course be Lagos State, which is also the most popular state in Nigeria. The living standard may be high, but there are still many opportunities for you to make money. Lagos gives room for opportunities. You have hundreds of companies to submit your proposal to. You only needed to take advantage of them.
2. Kano State
Kano State is the commercial hub of Northern Nigeria. Many interesting tales have been said about this state. Some corp members who finished from Kano are even claiming the place is better than Lagos. You might want to give it a try.
3. Ogun State
Ask people who finished from there. Everywhere in Ogun state is a place of Opportunity.
4. Plateau State
This is one of the best places you can serve. You will live large and still have savings. Normal standard of living, cheap foodstuffs, cheap transportation and many more.
5. Akwa Ibom State
If you are thinking or searching for a State where the people are friendly and down to earth, try Akwa Ibom. They have one of the best dishes on the planet, besides their women. Just give it a try and thank me later!
6. Enugu State
Well, from the information we gathered form some corp members. They said Enugu is not a bad place either.
7. Rivers State
Someone reading this is already shouting “Rivers State, Oil Money”. Rivers is still one of the best State to serve in.
8. Cross River State
Cross River is a nice place. You won’t regret it
9. Kwara State
The state of the “Afonjas”. The State Capital is Peaceful, good electricity and a place to bring any dream to reality. You will love it there.
10. FCT, Abuja
You will love it here! Aside from the high cost of accommodation, Abuja is a place filled with numerous opportunities.

Good afternoon. Please i did relocation in camp so when camp closed on 14th i learnt it didn’t work out so i did another relocation and it reflected last week Wednesday on 22nd. This week i went to the lagos Secretariat for documentation but they’ve closed the year so next week Tuesday i’m going to do the documentation. Today people checked their page and schedule for clearance is showing so i checked mine and it says my date is on 5th(next week Wednesday). Please if i do my documentation on Tuesday(4th) can i still do my clearance with the new state on 5th(Wednesday) or can i come later in the week since i just did my documentation on 4th(Tuesday) is it by force to follow the schedule? My date for clearance is 5th. Will it be possible to do january clearance? Please help
Okay John, congrats for the relocation. The closing date for clearance is 10th Jan. So after your documentation on the 4th Jan, you can do your Clearance on the 5th of Jan.
After the documentation on tuesday and i get new state code and all i can come the next day and do the clearance without ppa i can explain to them i just did documentation yesterday
