AKSU Cut-Off Mark

The Akwa Ibom State Government established and provided funding for Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU). The university welcomed its first-generation students during the academic year 2010–2011.

Although, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had set the cut-off marks or benchmark of 120 for Universities, 100 for Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

What is the Akwa Ibom State University cut-off Mark?
The Akwa Ibom State University’s (AKSU) administration has announced the cut-off mark of the admissions process for the 2025–2026 academic year. Only those applicants who chose Akwa Ibom State University as their first choice university and scored 160 or higher on the last UTME exam are eligible for the post-UTME screening process.

AKSU Post UTME Eligibility:

You are qualified and eligible to participate in the Post UTME screening exercise if your score is exactly or higher than the AKSU cut-off mark. If your score falls below the UTME AKSU cut-off mark, you are not qualified for the AKSU Post UTME.

AKSU Admission Screening Requirements Details

In addition, to be eligible for admission into Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) you must meet some certain admission requirements to be qualified for their screening exercise and be worthy to be offered provisional admission.
You will need the following underlisted documents such as:-

  • Printed copy of your JAMB result.
  • Original copy(s) of SSCE results (statements of result/certificate).
  • Birth certificate/Age declaration.
  • A Certificate/letter of good conduct from your village head or a responsible member of your community/or Civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or it equivalent.
  • Certificate of Local Government of origin.
