JAMB REGULARIZATION PROCEDURE [How To Do It Yourself]

Over time, we at Campus Times Nigeria realize that a lot of students have been finding it difficult to successfully complete their JAMB regularization procedure excercise. While some do not know how to go about it at all.
Therefore, in this article, we will take you by the hand and show you how to process it yourself.
But, before we proceed on the subject matter, we are going to explain the concept JAMB regularization. We believe this will help students that may be hearing about this concept for the first time.
What is JAMB Regularization?
This simply means the reconciliation of your admission between your Institution and JAMB.
JAMB regularization are for candidates who keep getting a message that “No Admission Has Been Given Yet” each time they try to check their admission status on JAMB official website.
The purpose of the regularization is to ensure that JAMB have your current admission details that tally with admission/registration record in the school that offered you admission.
Without this, you may not be mobilized for NYSC when the time comes.
Please Note:?JAMB regularization is also known as LATE APPLICATION on JAMB website.
Students That Need Regularization?
- Any student, or graduate that found his/her admission status as “not yet admitted” on JAMB website.
- 100 Level or final year students admitted through Pre Degree Programmes without admission information with JAMB.
- Students with double admission who decided to accept one of the schools not recognized by JAMB.
- Those who gained admission through Direct Entry?(ND, NCE, HND, IJMB etc)
- Any graduate who is ready for NYSC (must regularize his/her Jamb)
JAMB Regularization Procedure
Note: You are to pay N10,000 for JAMB regularization to JAMB account either through direct online payment or through remitta. Your school may not charge you anything in the process.
Follow the procedure outlined below to process it:
- ?You shall be require to create a profile via the Sign Up (New User) Page?if you are new user. For existing users, simply type in your login details. To create your profile, You will provide your valid email address, surname, first name, Mobile No, State and LGA of Origin and Password, then click on the Sign Up button. Each candidate is entitled to only one profile.
- Subsequently, you shall use your email address and password to sign in.
- Once you log in, you will see the landing page where you will see all available services.
- Select “Late (Retroactive) Application”. This is available on the side bar.
- Once you select it, the menu item “Late Application” will be revealed, Click This.
- Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.
- Review the details displayed on the Confirmation Page. Also, note that the Transaction ID displayed in a bold red font.?The Transaction ID is useful for future references concerning the Transaction. A copy of this Transaction ID will be sent to your registered email address.
- Click on the Continue button if you wish to pay with your card immediately. If you wish to use other payment channels like ATM, Cash at the Bank or Quickteller, please note the transaction ID as it will be required.
- On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the pay button.
- The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification ?and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the continue button.
- Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following;?Year of Exam and JAMB registration Number.
- After entering the information correctly, the application form will be displayed. You are to fill the application form online. Please take note of mandatory fields.
- Click submit to complete your application.
- After submission, an indemnity form will be displayed for printing.
- This is to be filled and taken to your institution for approval.
- Your institution will be responsible for submission of the approved form to the JAMB state office.
- Once received, the approved form will be uploaded to your profile. You will receive a notification when this is done.
- JAMB will now process your application, If approved, your details will be change as requested.
Hi, I did my jamb regularization in February and reason for the regularization is that my score was below cutoff because i wrote jamb in 2016. So I used that registration number. I used three names when I wrote my jamb. But when am doing the regularization they made a mistake and wrote two names only. I complained to the jamb staff and he told when the admission is giving I will go back for correction of name and put the name that I didn’t put. Another man told me that since I used three names when I was writing the jamb my admission will contain three names that is not a problem.
Is a little bit confused and am scared plsss can someone help me and explain my problem for me plsss. Because am scared maybe it will resulted to dig problem for me or should I wait and see what will happen maybe since I used three names when I was writing the jamb so when the admission is out it will contain three names
I have done jamb regularisation since last year, and am not given admission yet,and I won’t be able to go for nysc if am not given admission, what exacyis causing the delay from jamb
Hi Lillian, if by now your regularization is yet to be processed, why not visit JAMB Office to rectify it.
I have visited jamb office,but was told I can’t b regularised cos they have not gotten order from above to start regularisation on 2017 set.. what can I do?
What is usually done is that, your school should send to JAMB your Set’s list of candidates offered admission.
So find out if your school already sent your name among the list.
Pls I did my regularization and is writing awaiting approval process since one month now

Find out if your school sent your name along with 2017 list of candidates offered admission.
I mean if the school sent your name JAMB
Find out if your school already sentbto JAMB 2017 list of students granted admiasion. THAT SHOUKD TAKE CARE OF IT
I have visited jam office several times in my state, where I schooled,I was referred back to school.
I went to school and was showed that my file is now in jamb office, how come till now no email from jamb and it’s been a year now

I got admission to part time OND in 2017 without jamb reg number,so this year2021 jamb DE i bought and registered but at the CBT center I elected the other diploma due to the fact that I don’t have previous number but later when back to do data correctionat tge cbt and scanning my result and is now showing OND/HND…
Please with this can I be offered admission without regularization cos I went to jamb state office but they told me that there’s is no regularization for 2017…what can I do
If there is no regularization for 2017, then make use of your Student details appropriately.

I don’t know what reasons you have to do Condonement of illegitimate admission.
That means you can not do JAMB Condinement of illegitimate admission

You must correct the errors on your registration.
My jamb regularization profile stated documents re-scan required, what should I do sir, and also the documents the the state jamb posted was removed back

What if you are given admission by the school but you don’t have literature to study mass communication but the school accepted it . Will you be given admission by jamb after the regularization

Pls I use my first sim to get my jamb profile code, but I use the second sim for my jamb regularization for registration, there is any problem about that pls
You just need to keep your 2 SIM cards. You will need them for any issue relating to your JAMB records.
