Young Graduate, a program dedicated to Africa
Are you a young graduate with five years of higher education, aged 26 or under, from one of the 31 African countries in which we operate? Are you looking for a first work experience and a chance to upskill in an international environment? Are you interested in the energy sector? Then you’ve come to the right place!
For an 18-month period you will gain knowledge and skills through different assignments in finance, support, sales or technical functions. You will be trained and assessed over six months in your field, in a TotalEnergies affiliate in your country, before spending twelve months in another African country or the Paris headquarters.
Under the aegis of our Marketing & Services business segment, our Young Graduate program is waiting for you! Over 700 young graduates, including 50% women, have taken this program since 2014. Every year, it has helped over eighty talented people enter the African workforce. We recruit 55% of those who take part on permanent or temporary contracts.

Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: Nigerian citizen.
- Age: Under 26 years old.
- Education: University degree (preferably 2.2/3.5 CGPA in STEM/Energy).
- Experience: Less than one year of professional experience.
- NYSC: Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Recent graduate with postgraduate work experience not more than 2 years
- Must be geographically mobile.
- He/she should be able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- He/she should be able to work in a team, be self-driven, innovative and willing to learn.
- Good command of English

Program Structure (Typical)
