Tai Solarin University Of Education Admission Requirements
To study at Tai Solarin University Of Education, you must possess the following requirements:
- The candidate must be over 16 years of age in the year of admission (Some student swear an affidavit just to increase their ages)
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
- Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II and GCEÂ O/Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.
- The candidate must make at least 140 pass mark in JAMB to qualify for internal screening.

The general public should be informed that the POST-UTME screening exercise of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the 2026/2027 session will take place as indicated below:
UTME candidates who chose TASUED as first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
Direct Entry candidates with A level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB qualifications who chose TASUED as first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB and have obtained 2026 Direct Entry JAMB form.

2025/2026 TASUED POST UTME ONLINE PAYMENT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
- Prospective Candidates should visit https://v4.tasued.edu.ng
- Click on Apply Now and Select Undergraduate to choose your Application Batch
- Create an account and validate your email address
- Continue your application with online payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) Application Fee
- Fill necessary information and complete the Application Form stages.
Note: Use the Online Result Verification System (ORVS) to fetch and submit your O’ Level result as part of the application process stages.

How Schools Will Conduct Post-UTME/DE Admission Exercise
ONLINE SCREENING GRADING FOR ALL CANDIDATES
- The screening of candidate(s) will be based on Point Grading System, using the UTME Score and SSCE (or equivalent) grades in Five (5) BEST RELEVANT subjects to candidate’s choice of course.
- The relevant subjects are obtainable from 2026 JAMB brochure available online.
- Candidates are advised to visit JAMB website to study the O’ Level subject requirements for their course of choice before participating in the Online Admission Screening.
Candidates should know that payment and registration/updating would last for twenty one (21) days i.e., Monday, 20th July – Friday, 7th August 2026 midnight.

Note that wrong/false information provided by any candidate shall render the registration invalid and such candidates shall be disqualified.
SCREENING DATES
Screening exercise shall be conducted for all UTME/DE candidates at the Main Campus of the University at an advertised date.
Candidates’ participation in the screening exercise is a mandatory requirement for admission into Tai Solarin University of Education.
