Tai Solarin University Of Education Admission Requirements
To study at Tai Solarin University Of Education, you must possess the following requirements:
- The candidate must be over 16 years of age in the year of admission (Some student swear an affidavit just to increase their ages)
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
- Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) with passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II and GCE O/Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.
- The candidate must make at least 140 pass mark in JAMB to qualify for internal screening.

TASUED Post UTME/DE Screening 2025/2026
The general public should be informed that the POST-UTME screening exercise of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the 2025/2026 session will take place as indicated below:
UTME candidates who chose TASUED as first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 140 in the 2025 UTME.
Direct Entry candidates with A level/OND/HND/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB qualifications who chose TASUED as first choice institution or sought change of institution to TASUED through JAMB and have obtained 2025 Direct Entry JAMB form.
Post UTME/DE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
- Candidates should register online through the TASUED Admission portal on https://my.tasued.edu.ng/admission by creating application account with their JAMB Registration Number, which will be used to confirm their names, scores, programme and passport from the JAMB CAPS.
NB: The www.tasued.edu.ng is the ONLY legitimate and authentic website of TASUED through which the Admission portal can be accessed.
- Each candidate is required to make a payment of N2,000.00 for the screening exercise payable online with either Master card or VISA ATM card.
(Please print out your receipt after payment) - Candidates are required to fill and complete the online Registration Form by providing all the required information. It is MANDATORY for all applicants to use the University’s Online Result Verification System (ORVS) to submit and verify their ‘O’ level results.
- Print the Screening Slip containing your colour passport photograph and screening information. The printed slip will serve as candidate’s identification /admission card for the screening exercise.
The sale of the online Screening Form/ Registration will tentatively commence on Monday, 28th July, 2025 and closes on Friday, 12th September, 2025.

Note that wrong/false information provided by any candidate shall render the registration invalid and such candidates shall be disqualified.
SCREENING DATES
Screening exercise shall be conducted for all UTME/DE candidates at the Main Campus of the University from Tuesday, 16th to Friday 19th September, 2025.
Candidates’ participation in the screening exercise is a mandatory requirement for admission into Tai Solarin University of Education.
