The National University Commission (NUC) latest Nigeria University Ranking for 2025 is out with University of Ibadan (UI) still ranking high on the list of Top 10 universities in Nigeria.

The Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics) is a rank of world university web presence. And below is the updated 2025 edition of the top 10 universities in Nigeria from the webometrics results.

Although, there has been an increase in the number of universities in Nigeria but a drop in the standard and quality of education. Below is the list of Top 10 Universities In Nigeria as ranked by the National University Commission (NUC) 2025.

Covenant University

Covenant University popularly known as CU has once again secured the top spot in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025. CU ranks the 2025 best private university and ranks 1st on NUC list of top universities in Nigeria. University of Ibadan
