This time, however, we shall be focusing on the latest Nigeria schools that accept Inter University Transfer (IUT).
Inter university transfer simply means the process where by a student is transfering from one higher institution to another.
The student in question may wish to do inter university transfer because of some certain obvious reasons. It may be because of Security reasons, Weather condition or something relating to finance.
Whichever reasons for this transfer, it is important for the student to be aware of the latest nigeria schools that allow inter university transfer.
Although, from our recent research, not many schools accepts IUT because it is still new in the Country.
Nonetheless, some higher institutions have began to accept it. Here below are list of schools that accept IUT in Nigeria.
Latest Nigeria Schools That Accept Inter University Transfer
(1) Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA
(2) University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)
(3) University of Ilorin (UNILORIN)
(4) Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife (OAU)
(5) University of Ibadan (UI)
(6) Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, (LAUTECH)
(7) Our 2017 research also reveal that Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) now accepts University transfer. As a matter of fact, ABU is allowing transfer from State and Federal universities as long as the student has acquired atleast a minimum CGPA of 2.40. Transfer is only allowed in 200 level and above in the same course of study at the former school.
(8) Research have also revealed that University of Abuja now allows university transfer as long as the student passed the required minimum numbers of units specified for graduation for the number of session he/she has spent in the faculty. Students who transfer for any reasons shall be credited with those credit unit earned from the former school.
(9) Finally, most Private Universities, if not all do accept inter university transfers as long as all requirements for transfer are met.

Except if your course does not finish at 400 level, you can process transfer to another school. But that will take you to 300 level at the next school.

MBBS is a unique program on its own. Since you are required to take some medical examinations. It may be difficult. Hence, I would advise you to apply afresh for medicine or you can apply after your first degree in a science program.

You cannot be in 300 level and transfer to 300 level. It doesn’t work that way. There are no universities in the world that does such.

Hi Anita, if you will be transferring to another school. It is not to change your discipline. You have to continue in the same discipline.

You can not continue with 300 level. You will repeat 200 level.

Sorry, using your second MB results you can not do inter-university transfer.
