O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY CIVIL ENGINEERING

To study Civil Engineering, you must acquire at least Five SSCE Credit Passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language, and one Science subject.

There are however, variation to these requirements in some Nigerian higher institutions. In the case of some schools highlighted for you below:

  • FUTO and UNN accepts any other Science subjects as the Fifth subject and more than two sittings.
  • ANSU accepts a passion English Language.
  • NDU requires Five O’Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject.
  • ESUTECH requires Credit Passes in English Lanaguage and all relevant subjects.
  • FUTA requires Five SSCE Credit Passes or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings in Five (5) subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject.

JAMB Subject Combination For Civil Engineering

To apply for Civil Engineering in JAMB, you need the following subjects:-

  1. English Language (Compulsory For all courses),
  2. Physics
  3. Chemistry and
  4. Mathematics
