We are happy to inform all candidates that the JAMB UTME-DE Registration process have commenced.
However, Before you begin your JAMB 2026 UTME/DE registration, there are important steps you will need to take for a smooth registration process.
We have provided you here with the necessary steps you need to take for a smooth registration process. Candidates should take note of these steps and follow the instructions as rendered below.

In a statement by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, the board said the main JAMB UTME will be held from Friday, April 25th, 2026 to Monday, May 5th, 2026.
The statement reads: “Based on the series of recommendations emanating from a two-day Information Technology and Management Retreat held between 26th and 28th, November 2025, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has fixed 31st January to Wednesday 5th March 2026, for the sale of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination application document.
“Meanwhile, 10th April 2026, is fixed for the 2026 MOCK-UTME, while JAMB Main Examination Dates Friday, April 25th, 2026 to Monday, May 5th, 2026.
“Candidates are expected to print their examination slips prior to 5th May 2026. Candidates are enjoined to take note of these dates and other advisories issued by the Board in relation to the administration of the examination. They are also to visit the Board’s website @www.jamb gov. ng for any other information.”

Steps For A Successful JAMB 2026 UTME-DE Registration Process
#STEP 1:CREATE YOUR JAMB PROFILE
You need to create a profile before starting the registration process. To create profile;
- Send your name [Surname-First Middle-Name (If any)] (this should be maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names= 40 characters in all) by text (SMS) to 55019 e.g Tinubu Adamu Odumegwu (Surname and first names are mandatory).
- A profile code of 10 characters is recieved by the candidate on the same telephone number.
Note: One cell (mobile) number can be used by one candidate. The cell phone number used for the text message is automatically tied to the candidate’s name and will be used in all communications related to one’s 2025 Application and Examination.
#STEP 2: OBTAIN YOUR JAMB REGISTRATION PIN
There are six different methods of making payment and procuring the JAMB Registration ePIN.
PAYMENT THROUGH BANKS (Access, ECOBANK, First Bank, FCMB, Fidelity, Jaiz, Skye, Sterling, Union, Unity and Zenith) Including Micro Finance Banks (FUD MFB (Dutse) and Regent MFB (Abuja)
- Present Profile Code and pay by cash or card
- ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s telephone number
PAYMENT THROUGH POS
This is available at State Offices of JAMB + CBT Centres, other POS outlets and any CBT centre that demands it
- Present Profile Code and pay by card
- ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s telephone number
PAYMENT THROUGH MOBILE MONEY OPERATORS
This is available at CBT Centres and Other Outlets
- Present Profile Code and pay by cash
- ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s telephone number
PAYMENT USING ATM
This is available at all ATM outlets of participating Banks listed in 5C(i) (InterSwitch Channel)
- Select Bill Payment and then pick JAMB
- Enter Profile Code and pay
- ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
ONLINE PAYMENT ON JAMB PORTAL
- Visit JAMB website: jamb.gov.ng
- Click Purchase of 2026 Application Document
- Enter your Profile Code
- Select payment method (InterSwitch or Remita)
- Make payment
- ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
PAYMENT USING USSD (NIBSS/ERCAS)
- Dial *565*6*55019#
- Enter Profile Code
- Select bank and follow the prompts to complete payment
- ePIN is then delivered to the candidate’s unique telephone number
#STEP 3: JAMB 2026 REGISTRATION TEMPLATE
After you have obtained your registration PIN, do not be in hurry to proceed to an accredited CBT Centre for registration.
Please ensure you first dowload, print and fill the JAMB 2026 Registration Template. Click Here to do so. It’s important to get this template before going to the CBT centre for registration to avoid mistakes.
#STEP 4: REGISTRATION AT ACCREDITED
CBT CENTRES
After you have correctly filled the 2026 UTME Registration form template, you are to proceed to the closest JAMB Accredited CBT Centre with your ePIN for registration.

#STEP 5: AFTER REGISTRATION
Registration is done online and you will be personally attended to at the CBT Centre. Each candidates is to collect his or her e-slip or registration print-out. This serves as evidence that you have successfully completed the registration process.
