According to JAMB, there should be spacing between your surname, middle name and first name. If you wrote all your names together, without spacing them it would not be approved or accepted by JAMB.
The Invalid character could also be as a result of you inserting or adding numerical values in your name. You should note that numbers are not accepted as part of names; names are purely alphabets.

We have seen some candidates send name like Sade1995 and Philip15me to JAMB. This format is wrong and will not be accepted by JAMB.
Funny enough, some persons would send names like Mary419 and John15me to JAMB. This is not acceptable. Just follow the correct sms format.

You may have mistakenly added numbers to the spelling of your name. Names must be Alphabets only. Also, there must be SINGLE spacing between your First Name, Middle name, and surname. so, check it and correct it.
