FUNAI Post-UTME Screening registration, cut-off mark, eligibility, screening fee, application cost, deadline and all relevant information for 2026/2027 academic session have been announced. Cut-off mark is 180.

This is to inform the general public that registration for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post UTME)/Direct Entry Screening of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi state. The screening exercise shall commence on 1st June, 2026 and end on 30th June , 2026. The AE-FUNAI Post UTME Screening fee is N2, 000.

Interested candidates who made Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State their first choice institution in their application for admission in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and scored 180 and above  are hereby informed that the University’s Post-UTME Screening Test for the under-listed programmes is scheduled to hold from Monday 1st, 2026 to Tuesday, 30th June, 2026.

 

FUNAI Post UTME Eligibility

• Candidates who must have scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and who made Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State their first choice Institution in their application for admission in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry candidates
• Candidates who applied to study Medicine and Surgery must have a minimum score of 200 in the UTME and candidates who applied to study Law must have a minimum score of 200 in the UTME to be eligible for the University’s Post-UTME Screening.
• Prospective candidates who scored a minimum of 200 for Medicine and Surgery, 200 for Law and a minimum of 150 for other programmes and did not choose AE-FUNAI as their first choice institution, but wish to study in AE-FUNAI are eligible to apply for PUTME. However, such candidates must effect ‘Change of Institution/Course’ to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB Portal. This is also applicable to Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
• However, there shall be no Direct Entry admission into Medicine and Surgery and Law programmes

NOTE: The VENUE for the screening tests is the University’s Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre, take-off site while the DATE and TIME of test for registered candidates shall be communicated to them through the registration acknowledgement slip, which would be printed from the portal.

 

How to Apply for FUNAI Post UTME Form

• Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2, 000 only. To register, follow the steps outlined below:
• Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng, go to ADMISSIONS at the top menu or QUICK LINKS, Click on 2026/2027 Admission Screening
• Click on 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Registration OR 2026/2027 Direct Entry Admission Registration
• Click on ‘Prospective Students’
• Click on ‘Click to Apply’ under the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Application
• Enter your ‘JAMB Registration Number’
• Select your payment mode (Generate Remita
• Retrieval Reference Number).
• Proceed to any commercial bank for your payment with your Remita number.
• Return to the Application page and enter your ‘JAMB Registration Number’ again.
• Proceed with the completion of the form
• Submit your application.
• Print out your acknowledgement slip and come with it for the Post-UTME/Direct Entry Test.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Successful candidates, who may be offered provisional admission to AE-FUNAI, are advised to accept the offer within two weeks or the offer shall be deemed to have been forfeited.
• Prospective candidates who may wish to register for the Post-UTME through the E-FUNAI ICT points should visit: the University CBT Centre at Zone A in the University Campus OR Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki OR any other location.
• During registration, candidates are strongly advised to use GSM numbers that are easily accessible to them. This is important for fast and easy communication.

MODE OF SCREENING:

• The screening mode for the 2026/2027 academic session PUTME shall be through the process of assessment of JAMB UTME results, verified O/ Level and Direct entry results. *There shall not be PUTME Computer-Based Test ( CBT)*.
• All candidates are requested to ensure that their O/ Levels and Direct Entry results are uploaded to JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Monday, 29th June 2026. Any Post-UTME application without result upload will not be processed.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Prospective candidates who scored 150 and above and did not choose FUNAI as their first choice institution, but wish to study in any of the University’s newly approved programmes, should visit the University’s website funai.edu.ng and click on New Programmes for registration. Such candidates are however advised to effect change of institution/course to AE-FUNAI on the JAMB portal.
• Successful candidates who may be offered provisional admission are advised to accept the offer within two weeks or shall be deemed to have forfeited the offer.
• Prospective candidates who may wish to register for the POST UTME through the AE-FUNAI ICT Centres should visit the University CBT Centre, take-off site or Centre for Educational Services (Foundation/Pre-degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.

1. Visit the University website: www.funai.edu.ng, go to News, Click on 2026/2027 Admission Screening
2. Click on Prospective Students
3. Click on Click to Apply under 2026/2027 Admission Screening Application
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number
5. Select your payment mode (Generate Remita Retrieval Reference Number).
6. Proceed to any bank for your payment with your Remita number.
7. Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration Number again.
8. Proceed with the completion of the form.
9. Upload CLEAR COPIES of 2026 UTME Result, O Level results, recent passport photograph, Birth Certificate, and Local Government Identification.
10. Confirm your entries.
11. Submit your application.
12. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
13. And come with it for the Post-UTME Test.

TEST REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are required to come with the following items:

1. Registration print-out acknowledgement slip from the University website, which should indicate their date and time of test
2. 2026/2027 Original UTME Result slip (not photocopy) showing candidates picture and score

How many questions are asked in FUNAI Post UTME?
The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, (AE-FUNAI) Post Utme question always comprises of Maths, English and any two subject Papers For Science while English and any other three subjects.
