1. I hold an HND in electrical engineering but my OND is in a different Polytechnic. Should I apply to WES using course by course evaluation.
2. Do I need to contact a supervisor before applying form masters in one of the university you mention.
3. Can I use the same WES reference number to apply for schools in Canada and USA or different reference number or i do i need different reference number for both
4. Do I need GRE for application or are Nigerians exempted
Hi Charles Chimezie,
1. Yes, you will be applying to WES using Course by course Evaluation. So, if you studied Electrical Engineering in 2 different schools you will need to get their Transcripts. Except if whatever you studied in the other school is a discipline different from ELECT ENGR.
2. You can contact a supervisor BEFORE AND DURING. Most Universities prefer to grant admission based on Recommendation of your Supervisor. You need at least 2.
3. Yes you can use same Ref Number, because, Canada and US both use the services of WES.
4. You ONLY need GRE IF Admission Requirement for your Course requires GRE.
NB: Make sure you do a diligent follow up on the movement of your Transcripts and other documents.
Please as an HND holder in science laboratory technology, am I to apply for a graduate program or undergraduate?
You can apply for a Graduate program if you wish to go for a Masters. Or you can go for an undergraduate program if you want to proceed on an extensive program like medicine and surgery.
If I apply as a graduate, I will be asked to select the course of study and HND is not part of their course of study please
If you encounter challenges with HND re of vision for admission requirements, then apply for PGD in your discipline. It’s a 1 year programme. That will earn you a qualification to enrol for Masters.
I have HND in soil and water engineering with 2.96 can I apply for master in us
Yes, you can apply for a masters.
